Découvrez Rabat, la capitale du Maroc et l'une de ses quatre villes impériales, lors d'une excursion d'une journée au départ de Casablanca En arrivant, vous remonterez au XIIe siècle avec la visite de l'emblématique Tour Hassan. Cette imposante structure, qui fait partie d’un ambitieux projet de mosquée laissé inachevé par le sultan Yacoub al-Mansour, témoigne du patrimoine et des aspirations médiévales de la ville. À proximité, le Mausolée de Mohammed V offre un aperçu de l’histoire plus récente du Maroc, sa silhouette blanche immaculée honorant l’héritage des rois vénérés de la nation et leur rôle dans la réalisation de l’indépendance. Promenez-vous dans la Kasbah des Oudayas, une forteresse qui gardait autrefois la ville contre les invasions et qui sert maintenant de quartier paisible avec des jardins de style andalou. Promenez-vous dans la Médina, où les racines berbères anciennes rencontrent les touches coloniales Françaises sur un Marketplace animé. Après 1h30 de route pour rejoindre un minaret Hassan Tower, adjacent aux ruines d'une mosquée inachevée. La construction de la mosquée et du minéral a commencé au XIIe siècle sous le règne du souverain almohade, Yacoub al-Mansour. La tour culmine à 44 mètres (140 pieds) de haut et présente des détails décoratifs complexes, tels que des calligraphies et des motifs géométriques.
Le Grand mausolée islamique de Rabat, a été construit entre 1961 et 1971, à la suite du décès du roi Mohammed V en 1961. Le mausolée a été conçu par l'architecte vietnamien Nguyen Viet Thu, et la construction a été réalisée par des artisans marocains. il présente une architecture islamique impressionnante, un travail complexe du marbre. Les tombes sont en onyx blanc et situées sous un grand dôme.
Après 15 minutes, nous atteindrons un grand palais construit en 1864 sous le règne du sultan Mohammed IV, qui est la résidence officielle du roi du Maroc. Le palais présente une architecture marocaine traditionnelle, des ferronneries ornées et un travail complexe. Bien que les visiteurs ne soient pas autorisés à entrer dans le palais, ils peuvent le voir de l'extérieur et profiter des jardins environnants. Il reste un site culturel et historique important à Rabat
Nous nous dirigerons vers la forteresse de Challa, classée au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO en 2012, qui constitue l'attraction touristique la plus populaire de Rabat. Elle abrite des ruines romaines et une nécropole musulmane médiévale.
5 minutes pour atteindre une fortification historique datant du 12ème siècle, faite de grès et renforcée de bastions, de portes et de tours. ils entourent la vieille ville de Rabat et les visiteurs les longent pour profiter de la vue sur la médina et ses environs.
Inscrite au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO À l'embouchure de la rivière Abu Regrag, elle se dresse fièrement. Une histoire riche en événements est aujourd'hui devenue une zone qui attire les touristes et les visiteurs, ce qui en fait un magnifique site archéologique à Rabat.
en 10 minutes environ. d'un beau jardin traditionnel. Il a été construit au début du 20e siècle par l'architecte français Jean-Claude Forestier. Il comprend un bassin central réfléchissant, des orangers, des parterres de fleurs, des fontaines, des pavillons, des pergolas et des carreaux et des portes ornés, tous caractéristiques du style de jardin andalou. PS : le jardin est fermé le vendredi.
Une pause déjeuner est prévue pendant la visite; cependant, le coût du déjeuner n'est pas inclus. Vous pouvez savourer un repas, prendre un café ou simplement vous détendre et profiter de l'atmosphère du Marina Salé. Le déjeuner coûte généralement entre 10 et 20 €, selon vos préférences.

I was picked up from the Hyatt Hotel in Casablanca right on time. There was another solo lady passenger on the van which was nice. We were then met in Rabat by our tour guide, a very knowledgeable man. He provided us with tons of information about Rabat. The capital city tour exceeded my expectations. Rabat is absolutely a beautiful town. The day trip from Casablanca is a must! We were taken to the Kings Palace, The Ancient City of Sala, The Gardens, Hassan Mosque and the Moroccan Santorini. We walked through the narrow streets lined with white houses and then got to the end to see where the river meets the ocean. Absolutely stunning!!! At the end we got to experience a true Beautiful Moroccan restaurant called Dar Naji.

The tour was great and Rabat is a beautiful city. I just don't think there was enough time at each spot, from our perspective it didn't need to be that rushed since is not a long trip from Casablanca. Maybe if the tour was 8 hours long it would be perfect. Also, once we started we were told we were gonna have the option of free time in the Casbah or in the Medina, but the guide and driver took us directly to have lunch in the beach without asking us. Since we were a small group, we were able to go back to the Medina after insisting. Overall, I recommend the tour if you are running out of time, but I think these improvements could be useful.

We booked this tour to include hotel pickup. Unfortunately, the tour company did not show up on time, so when I message the company they stated I was supposed to meet at a pick up point. No where in my confirmation does it state anything about a pick up point. It does confirm pick up at my hotel. I even confirmed through WhatsApp they had the correct pick up hotel a few days before the tour. They did eventually pick us up at our hotel, but 45 min late. Rest of the tour was good and we did have a good tour guide. Just frustrating when everything is confirmed and the tour doesn’t start off smoothly.
