Le parc national de Charyn Canyon est le site naturel le plus célèbre du Kazakhstan. Nous visiterons sa partie BIEN connue des touristes appelée Vallée des Châteaux en raison de sa forme inhabituelle. Au cours de la visite, vous observerez des vues « martiennes » du Charyn Canyon. La Castle Valley est également appelée « petit frère » du Grand Canyon au Colorado en raison de sa similitude, bien qu’elle soit beaucoup plus petite. Sur le chemin vers Charyn Canyon, nous visiterons le marché routier du village de Baiseiyt.

Itinéraire
La « Vallée des Châteaux » du Charyn Canyon s'étend sur plus de 150 km et son âge est d'environ 12 millions d'années, selon les estimations les plus conservatrices des scientifiques. Dans les temps anciens, la gorge unique était le fond du lac Ili, que nous rappelle aujourd'hui la rivière Charyn, qui traverse le canyon. Il n'est pas inférieur au Grand Canyon aux États-Unis, puisqu'il y a des falaises abruptes de 150 à 300 m de haut et 200 m de profondeur. Pendant la saison, ses eaux turbulentes forment un courant puissant, dangereux même pour les nageurs expérimentés.

If the travel agency doesn’t send a pickup time, call them. I waited 2 hours then called. They’d forgotten. Trip itself was very good as was guide. We got back an hour later then I’d wanted due to late start.
Long time was planning to visit Charyn Canyon. This time we were lucky to go, since our guide was Aidyn. He has strong SUV Lexus 470. And Aidyn himself the very knowledgeable guide with a lot of joy travelling to.
Aydin is a super guide. knows a lot, positive. and also sings beautifully and plays Kazakh musical instruments

Despite a little misunderstanding regarding the date, the tour guide managed to quickly adapt to the situation and find a solution to our convenience. We visited the Canyon, the Moon Canyon and another lake within a single day, and it was amazing ! Not only were the places wonderful, but the drive itself to these places was very pleasant and peaceful. Our tour guide was careful, interesting, and answered our many questions.
