Great place to visit on a day trip from Las Vegas, we spent the day here driving around seeing the differant site seeing spots.

They canceled my trip to death valley and did not contact me. I flew from the east coast just for this trip. Would not recommend booking with this group.
So Sorry but you didn't contact us to let us know you made it to town. With all due respect, it clearly states on your voucher that you must contact us after check in. Things like ths dissappoint us also. Very best regards, Will & Donna Tryon - Owners
My husband and I from Sydney Australia went on the Death Valley Tour from Las Vegas with Clayton as ur driver and guide. Full day with amazing landscape and endless picture shots to catch. Clayton as a Las Vegas local had so much info to share about the natural and man made structures and a great passion for the area. The service and attention provided by Adventure Photo Tours was exceptional with follow ups and updates as the weather (heat increased / changed) always looking after us. We are impressed with Adventure Photo Tours service, so doing other Grand Canyon tours with them while her on Las Vegas. Highly recommended.
Hi, Thank you for your wonderful review on Clayton and the Death Valley Tour. It's an amazing place! Delighted you had a great day. Very best regards, Will & Donna Tryon - Owners
Day drive from Las Vegas (about 2 hours), Gas up before you leave Vegas. Minimal to no cell phone coverage unless in Pahrump or Furnace Creek Visitor Center. DO NOT USE the bathroom at the pull over station, where you can pay for park entrance (you will regret it. The smell made me gag, and I almost threw up. I was still gagging for about five minutes after I exited the bathroom. I’m a nurse and I’ve endured a lot of gross things over the years, but the smell coming from this bathroom has topped the list). Wait and use the bathrooms at the furnace creek visitors station. It was about noon when we arrived. We did sand dunes, which is 30 minutes out from furnace creek visitor center. Then we turned around and headed back towards the visitor center and did Devils golf course, bad water basin, artist’s pallet (The second parking lot is more colorful than the first) and then Zabriskie’s point. By that time it was 4:30 pm and the sun was setting so we did not have time to go up to Dante’s View. Everywhere that we stopped was easy walking access from the parking lot. We went in January and temperature was 65 degrees Fahrenheit. If I had to do anything different (other than the bathroom experience), I probably would’ve allotted for one to two more hours worth of time in the park!
Hi Lars, Thank you for your detailed review. So glad you had a fun day at Death Valley. We pay billions to the parks in America and this is the service they give us, they will hear about this. That is unacceptable performance by the park service. And the weather is great in winter but the days are shorter. Although, we still spend a solid 3-4 hours in the park. Thank you so much, Will & Donna Tryon - Owners
Our tour guide Clayton was so enthusiastic, caring and entertaining! He had heaps to tell us about Death Valley and the surrounding area including some fascinating history. We loved walking in the salt flats, sand dunes and the Devil's golf course. We highly recommend Adventure Photo Tours!😊
HI Erich, Thank you for your review. Death Valley is fantastic and Clayton brings every tour to life! Please come back, there is so much yet to see. Very best regards, Will & Donna Tryon - Owners
Well... what you see is a salt lake between 1,500-1,800 m thick according to test drilling. When I was there, just 39-40 degrees Celsius... it was hotter with 45 degrees Celsius in Phoenix. Whether to do so from Las Vegas 2.5 hours. Ride one way must accept...???? You can experience more in Las Vegas with this time.
Hi, I'm puzzled at your review. I guess you expected it to be hotter. A few people have died out there this year, wanting to be there in the dangerously extreme heat. We don't take people there when it's that hot. I suggest you rent a car but take lots of water with you. Good luck, Will
We loved the private tour ! Art was our guide and driver for the day. He is experienced, knowledgeable and very accommodating. It was one of the most memorable tours of my life.. also courtesy of the scenery. The vehicle was very comfortable and as we had a concert to attend at the Las Vegas sphere in the evening, Art made sure that we could see all the important things by not rushing and making recommendations on the pick up time and on the order of sites to visit. His preparation and knowledge on the job was vital as the Death Valley park had just reopened after the biggest flood in a century where only some roads were re-opened. We were able to navigate around the area without issues and be back on time for a shower a quick bite and be at the concert on time !
Hi Ivan, Thank you so much for the wonderfully detailed review and so happy you had a fun time with Art. He is special indeed. Please come back there is so much yet to see. Very best regards, Will & Donna Tryon - Owners
We booked a private tour of Death Valley and were extremely satisfied! Dennis was a wonderful tour guide from start to finish. He picked us up at our Vegas hotel right on time and immediately provided us with breakfast and orange juice. His punctuality and hospitality set a positive tone for the day. Bathroom breaks were plentiful, which is always a concern when road tripping. Dennis was also a wealth of knowledge about the entire region, including its flora, fauna, and topography. He shared fascinating insights and stories throughout the day. One of the highlights was our visit to Rhyolite, an abandoned mining town that felt like stepping back in time. Dennis also took us to all the top spots in Death Valley, ensuring we didn't miss any of its stunning features. Throughout the tour, he was attentive, making sure we stayed hydrated, comfortable, and well-fed. Dennis's combination of professionalism, expertise, and genuine care for his guests made this day exceptional. We couldn't recommend this tour more highly!
Hi Emma, Thank you so much for the wonderful review. Dennis is a hoot, so happy you had a fun time with him. Very best regards, Will & Donna Tryon - Owners
Very thorough tour of the National Park and excellent guide. Loved being in a small group and pick up and drop off at my hotel.
Hi Debora, Thank you for the review and so happy you had a fun time. Death Valley is truly an amazing place. Very best regards, Will & Donna Tryon - Owners
We visited Death Valley during the summer, a time when the heat was intense but perfect for a road trip like this. We flew to Las Vegas and rented a van for the journey, which was an incredibly exciting time. As we drove out of the bustling city of Las Vegas into the desert, it felt like we were embarking on an 'out of nowhere' adventure. As we looked around, a vast desert stretched to the edge of the sky. There was nothing but land, mountains, a road, and the expansive sky. We could clearly understand why it was named Death Valley. Despite its harsh conditions, we discovered beauty and charm in this endless desert. The vast orange-brown landscape made us realize just how small we are as humans. We spent an entire day exploring the desert, which was a great experience. Surviving the heat and enjoying the moment of a lifetime amidst the greatness of Death Valley's nature.
Hi Swan, Thank you so much for the wonderful and detailed review. This is the best one in a long time. You should write for a living. Well done! Very best regards, Will & Donna Tryon - Owners
