De Kandy : 6h30 De Sigiriya commence à : 17h00 (Vous devrez peut-être attendre jusqu'à 17h00 même si vous êtes prêt à partir tôt puisque c'est une visite de groupe) La forteresse de Sigiriya Rock et le temple de la grotte de Dambulla sont des lieux emblématiques du Sri Lanka et tout voyageur qui visite le Sri Lanka aimerait les voir. Ce circuit vous offre la possibilité pour ces voyageurs de satisfaire leurs exigences dans un court laps de temps et à un prix abordable. Un véhicule de très bon état sera aménagé et la taille du véhicule dépend du nombre de réservations. Il peut être varié de minivan à autocar de tourisme de luxe. Un ancien temple hindou situé sur notre chemin vers Dambulla
Matale est bien connue pour ses épices car elle possède le meilleur climat pour les cultiver. Vous aurez un aperçu des différents types d'épices, de leur utilisation et de leur processus de fabrication, etc.
L'un des plus anciens temples rupestres du monde. Il y a 05 grottes et l'histoire remonte au 1er siècle avant notre ère. On vous expliquera son histoire et son contexte religieux.
Construit par le roi Kashyapa sous le règne de 473 à 495, la hauteur est de 660 pieds et doit gravir 1200 marches pour atteindre la forteresse du Rocher du Lion au sommet de Sigiriya. Il existe plusieurs plates-formes qui divisent les étapes et permettent une petite pause si vous en avez besoin. Aujourd'hui, la forteresse rocheuse de Sigiriya est l'un des trésors archéologiques les plus célèbres et est nommée par l'UNESCO Cette ville-jardin fortifiée de la forteresse rocheuse de Sigiriya est un chef-d'œuvre exceptionnel de l'urbanisme ancien / du paysage et de l'architecture / de la technologie de la construction / de l'ingénierie et de la gestion hydrauliques exceptionnelles / des beaux-arts anciens. Une ville et un palais bien planifiés au 5ème siècle après JC. La forteresse rocheuse de Sigiriya est reconnue comme l'un des sites urbains anciens les mieux conservés d'Asie depuis le 1er millénaire ou simplement comme un musée vivant. Le site du patrimoine mondial de Sigiriya est un attrait polyvalent et aux multiples facettes, et c'est l'une des anciennes capitales politiques du Sri Lanka et le site du patrimoine le plus sensationnel du Sri Lanka.
Visitez le village traditionnel de Sigiriya pour assister au mode de vie simple des habitants du Sri Lanka. We started early in the morning and covered major sites like Sigiriya, Dambulla Cave temple and Minneriya National park safari in the same day. In extra, our guide cum driver Dulaj took us to spice garden as well. All the way, Dulaj drove excellent. Thanks to the trip coordinator Mr Geesara.

My experience with Mahawali Tours was exceptional, I booked the Sigiraya tour and also transfer through them. All their drivers have been extremely professional, welcoming, helpful and have gone above and beyond to make sure I was getting the best experience and have given me many nice recommendations.
Our driver Dulaj was excellent. We were picked up in Kandy and driven to Sigirya and the Dambulla. We also stoppped in Natalie to view a wonderful Huddhu temple and also a spice and herb farm both were very interesting . We then went to the Sigiriya Rock before it was too hot. The climb is a big challenge and not for the faint hearted but so worth the view and achievement value at the top. We then visited the Dambulla cave temples. We didn’t like to do more stairs after the Rock but the cave temples are so worth going to see - the size of the lying Buhhds is so different. Then on the way back to Kandy Dulaj took us to the centre of Sri Lanka!!!! There is a really ancient tiny temple to see there, Dulaj made the amazing trip to Dambulla and Sigiriya Rock one of the best trips we have had.
Amila was our tour guide for the day, and he was absolutely amazing. He was incredibly friendly, kind, genuine, and cooperative throughout the entire trip. He went above and beyond to accommodate us and truly gave us a wonderful impression of the warm hospitality and kindness of the Sri Lankan people. He made the experience unforgettable. The company was also excellent , very communicative, organized, and highly responsive from start to finish. I truly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Sri Lanka. I had an amazing day tour to Dambulla, Sigiriya, and Safari from Kandy with Amila! He was very enthusiastic, friendly, and made the whole journey enjoyable from start to finish. Ana amazing experience, I had Shanaka as my guide who was really lovely and accomodating. It turned out to be a private tour not a group tour which meant he gave me the option of what I wanted to do so we did a Sigiriya village tour instead of the safari which was incredible highly recommend (and a lot cheaper). Includes riding in a traditional cart and then a boat ride where the guide made me a bouquet of flowers and necklace and then a lovely lunch with traditional Sri Lankan food! We also visited the dumbulla cave temples and I climbed the sigiriya rock which was breathtaking. Highly recommend if you want to tick of a lot of spots in one day.
