La pyramide courbée mesure environ 100 mètres de hauteur et la longueur de chaque côté de sa base de forme carrée est de 188 mètres. L'autre pyramide construite par Senfru à Dahchour a été un grand succès. C'était en fait la première véritable pyramide à être construite dans l'Égypte ancienne. La pyramide rouge de Senfrou est la deuxième plus grande pyramide d'Égypte après la grande pyramide de Khéops à Gizeh. Elle est à seulement 10 mètres de moins que la pyramide de Khéops. Our first leg of our Egypt trip in Cairo was nothing short of unforgettable, all thanks to Egypt Promotion Travels and especially our incredible personal tour guide, Karam. From the very beginning, everything was perfectly organised. On our first day, we visited the breathtaking Giza Pyramids before ending the evening with an amazing dinner cruise on the Nile — truly a magical experience. On our second day, we explored the fascinating Saqqara Pyramids, visited local markets, and enjoyed a delicious authentic Egyptian lunch. What truly made this experience exceptional was Karam. His knowledge of Egyptian history, culture, and local traditions is absolutely outstanding. No question ever went unanswered, and he constantly shared fascinating insights that brought every site to life. Samara is excellent. He was so knowledgeable and patient with us as we walked around the step pyramid. This was our first stop in Cairo and I don’t know if it was first stop magic but the way the place is preserved is pretty amazing. It’s no where near as crowded as the great pyramids and the hieroglyphics. Samara explained everything so well. He’s definitely a treasure.
