Bring something warm; it might be windy. He is very impatient and is doing very well. The guide explains everything very well to you. It is adapted for all ages. The demonstrations are very good. The worst part is that you cannot get off the bus on the volcano circuit, but it is com
Really enjoyed the trip. The driver was brilliant while driving down the trail in the National Park, it must take a lot of skill to get it right. Our tour guide was Micheal, he was really funny and kept making jokes throughout to keep us entertained, and very informative. The National Park was our favourite, although we didn’t stop for too long, but it was a lovely experience. We didn’t have as many stops as we thought so were on the bus a lot of the time but the views were great. Would 100% recommend.
The service I received did not match what was advertised in several ways: 1. DURATION: The listing clearly states the tour lasts 7 hours. Our tour only lasted 5 hours (10am to 3pm), with no explanation provided by the operator. 2. CLOSED FACILITY: At the camel stop, participants who didn’t want to do the camel ride were told a museum was available. The museum was closed with no alternative. We waited 30 minutes with nothing to do — a service advertised but not delivered. 3. SHORTER STOPS: The official itinerary advertises 40 minutes at the Green Lagoon. We were only given 25 minutes. 4. MISLEADING DESCRIPTION: The tour is marketed as a full day of sightseeing. In reality, the vast majority of the time was spent on the bus, which was not stated in the listing. My partner suffers from motion sickness and would never have booked had this been clear — she felt sick for most of the day. Be careful in timanfaya you are going to be full on a bus. 5. LUNCH: The group was taken to an overpriced tourist restaurant with no alternative option.
The tour guide Pablo was extremelly friendly and informative. I think the free time of each stop could have been longer than it was, but all together it was an awsome experience.
It’s 5 out of 5 from me! Everything went smoothly and I enjoyed this trip very much. Pick up was on time, even a bit earlier. Amazing guide Paul (local) was very experienced and knew a lot of facts. First stop was at Timanfaya National Park with presentation of flaming torch and geyser. We had plenty of free time for photos, wonder around, coffee, toilets and souvenirs. Then we had a ride along the volcanic eruption with lots of beautiful views of lava rocks. Such an amazing scenery. After that we went to see camels, but no one was brave enough to take a ride. 😂 Next stop was a vinery Bodegas Barreto where we had a chance to sample some local wine and purchase some of it. Lunch was served at the local restaurant in village of Yaiza, where we were literally stuffed, wonderful local cuisine and vine, and we barely could walk back to the bus, but our journey was not over just yet. We visited the Blue Lagoon, which is more like a green pond than a blue lake, but we didn’t mind it because we had lovely time. Drop off went smoothly (again!). These guys are so good and knowledgeable. I had a great time and made new friends. Will highly recommended.
It has been an amazing experience in fact I thought I would not ride a camel when I really have done it at a very good price has not given you time to see all the super friendly guides super attentive with any need of tourists a job of 10, an organization of 10 would repeat without doubt and in fact has made us a spectacular time because it was calm with the wind is enjoyed much more.
Overall the experience was good, especially the visit to the Timanfaya National Park which is why I have given it 4 stars. The description on the Viator site was accurate, so no complaints about that, however in practice there were issues. We were asked to be at our pick up spot at least 5 mins before the the pick up time of 09.10. The tour was scheduled to start at 09.30. The coach that picked us up also picked up went to a number of other locations in Playa Blanca then went to the town of Yaiza. There were two tours and the coach we were due to travel on was coming from Tequise and wasn't due until 10.20. in the meantime we had a coffee at the restaurant and I was asked by the proprietor for 1 Euro to use the bathroom, which we had been told was free! The other coach turned up at 10.20. It turned out to be a double decker coach that was almost full. We stopped at the entrance to the National Park for the camel rides. there was a very interesting little museum there. The National Park was stunning and well worth it. Issue with the double decker bus were the number of people and that the guide (Roland who was excellent) had to do the commentary in three languages, so there was commentary almost all the whole time. Also because of the amount of space we had difficulty in seeing the geyser and fire demonstrations. Back to Yaiza for lunch at the same café. Nothing was labelled and at 15 Euros was poor value. Visiting the vineyards in La Geria was fascinating, but the wine tasting was a rip off! A tiny little tumbler of a preselected wine, but no information about the wine. Our tour finished there and then we had nearly another hour in a minibus dropping off others before we got back to our pick up spot. We have used Viator on many occasions but this was by far the most disappointing.
Thanks to Paul and Tony for this spectacular day Thanks for everything
From beginning: they are picking up all people, after starting telling stories about Lanzarote and what we can expect to experience. I love part then no one talks and nice dramatic music is paying in bus, we was going through the lava road. Good taste music has. First stop was by green and blue sea, after is Timanfaya park. Few workers showed how is working ground, one worker put water in hole and in seconds ground is take out , kind split. After we was going to place where they have a Camel, you can ride on but if you want need pay extra 11€. Is worth it to get this experience, another way you will stay and watch and waiting till all people done this experience. I made good video and beautiful pictures sitting on Camel, definitely I suggest to get this experience. Next stop the last famous artist cave, beautiful place and good coffee’s. I recommend to have this trip in beginning holiday in Lanzarote.
Considering cold wheather, im giving 3 stars
