Lors de cette excursion d'une journée complète en famille, nous nous dirigerons vers le nord et prendrons le ferry pour Texel pour explorer ses parcs nationaux, ses villages historiques et ses plages. La mer des Wadden est célèbre pour sa différence distinctive entre marée haute et basse, la migration des oiseaux et sa belle nature. Si la marée et le temps le permettent, nous inclurons une courte randonnée dans les vasières, le véritable fond de la mer des Wadden. Dans l'un des villages historiques, nous nous arrêterons pour déjeuner (non inclus). Nous viendrons vous chercher à Amsterdam dans la matinée et vous ramènerons en fin d'après-midi. Une journée complète d’expérience insulaire sur l’une des plus belles îles de Hollande !

The tour was great. The first stop was a German Bunker from World War Two. I had never seen a bunker up close. The boat ride to see the seals was the highlight of the tour. I enjoyed watching the seals even the lazy ones. I had booked a tour last year with Dutch Tours. When I returned to Amsterdam, I booked another tour.

Highly recommend Dutch tours!! They were great from booking all way up to the tour its self. So helpful with any and all questions kind and fun to hang out with and so prepared!! We did a full day tour to Texel island we’re I also got to enjoy an incredible horse back riding experience. So knowledgeable and allowed us to pick what we wanted to see. Snacks drinks and even extra clothes if needed there was some rain and I was able to borrow water proof cover pants for my trail ride! Even helped us pay our parking and figure that out, I can’t recommend them enough! Book through their website dutchtours.com!!

We really enjoyed spending the day with Sarah and her daughter, Elizabeth. We added the horseback riding option to our tour and it was fantastic. Nothing like riding through the woods! Sarah took us through several small villages, the beach and an impromptu bird watching stop on our way back to the ferry. In all, a great day away from the city.

Eva (and Sarah) with Dutch Tours are the perfect guides for tour skeptics. Eva is good humored, knowledgeable, clearly loves the place(s) and simply makes things easy for those without transportation who want to get a little less accessible area. She had a few favorite spots, but capacity to customize with our small group. Thoroughly enjoyed the day with my daughter and a few other travelers.

We had an amazing day with Eva riding through the countryside as we moved to Texel Island. The drive was long but full of beauty and informational as we learned about dikes and the water systems and much more. The ferry ride over to the island is streamlined and smooth and once on the island we visited several of the small towns and explored their lovely architecture. The beaches are ready for visitors when the weather warms up. We also went on a boat trip to a sandbar where there were many seals sunning. Then a ride back to the ferry and Amsterdam after a full day of exploring. Dutch tours are fabulous and I highly recommend using them. Knowledgable and attentive with tours that are different than the norm. And they'll make a private tour if there is something special you want to do.
