Good day lovely time and the guide was amazing even though it was Arab guide he translate to English for me as my partner was Arab
The experience was amazing, mustafa is a great guide and helped make this trip enjoyable. The stops in between destinations was beautiful, there was Turkish delight straight from the factory and great variety of coffee and tea and everything was fresh. The destinations themselves were so beautiful, there was barely any waiting time. Overall a great trip
Joining the Sapanca tour was an absolute delight! The combination of nature, calm lake views, and fresh air made it an unforgettable experience. Everything was well-organized from transportation to the guided moments along the way. A perfect escape from the city hustle. I’m so glad I joined
We were picked up from our hotel at 8:00 in the morning to join the Sapanca tour. The journey took about 2 hours and was quite enjoyable. The atmosphere in Sapanca was amazing. I especially loved the zipline and cable car experiences. It was a fun and unforgettable day
The whole tour was a way to get money out of the tourists' pockets. Took us to various shops in order to shop and stopped the van there for ages so by the time we got to our first activity it was already half 3. Each activity was quite expensive and on the cable cars we were told by the guide it was 600 lira but on arriving there they changed it to 800. We were told its a 10 hour tour but it took us 15 hours in total and got to our hotel back at 11pm at night.
I had hesitated to book this excursion after reading the reviews but I wanted to form my own opinion, result: extremely disappointing! It's a tourist trap circuit, you walk around all day in sites where everything costs money. The guide was not friendly or only with people who put their hands in their wallets. It takes you directly to the ticket office of each stop without informing you of the free choice possible. If you do not participate in the paid activities, you will have to wait for more than an hour at the entrance to each site while waiting for the others. Here is the detail to summarize the day: 1- From 8 a.m. Collection of all participants at various locations 2- First at the zoo, duration 1 hour, price per person approximately €45 3- Second stop the Turkish Delight shop, duration 1h20: the guide makes you believe that it is cheaper and made on site, this is not true, it is a tourist shop where no prices are displayed . 4- Third stop, 1h15: the cable car, price per person €30 5- Fourth stop, 1 hour: the zip line, price for one trip: €10 6- Fifth stop, it’s 5 p.m., duration 30 min: meal FINALLY! at snack time (single menu salad + platt + drink, no dessert) in a very beautiful place, unfortunately you are rushed to eat and leave after 30 minutes, we were not able to enjoy it. 7- Sixth stop, 1h30: is the safari actually an amusement park where EVERYTHING costs money? Allow €30 per person for a buggy ride. Children's trampoline for €20. 8-Seventh stop, 30 min, the lake FINALLY! It's already nighttime. We were supposed to stay there for 2 hours!! Same extremely disappointed, we take you to a restaurant by the lake where you can do another paid activity. Departure from Sapança at 9:30 p.m. arrival in Istanbul at 10:30 p.m. Result fatigue and loss of time, 0 activities. Scams. We lost a day in Istanbul. I do not recommend this activity.
I don’t even know where to start. So, the day before the tour, we were told to meet at point A, but as we were reaching point A the next day, the guide texted me saying to meet at point B. We got to point B, then we were put on the wrong bus. Lucky there was just too many people to fit in that bus so they realized we were on the wrong bus. Once we took off, the guide just said “I won’t be talking much because I’m fasting.” Um… no offense but either this job isn’t for him or Ramadan isn’t the best time for tourists. The itinerary says there would be cable car ride and hobbit house, but somehow we didn’t go to those places, the guide said cable car was closed but it was operating with passengers on it that we saw other tour groups went to. At the end of tour, the guide sort of made a joke saying “so our tour has cut short, we’ll be back to Istanbul early, just in time when my fasting ends. Haha.” It really made me feel like the tour was catered to him and the tour was no more than just a transportation service. One great thing I must compliment about this tour was Aslan Park we visited. It was part of an amusement park and they had kept quite some big cool cats in good condition(of course they could use more space but after all this ain’t Africa) unfortunately we had only 45min there. I will definitely visit this park again. After the park we went to this zip line spot, which is 150m back and forth(200TL) end in 2 min, I wasn’t even allowed to take video/photos of my child going down the zip line because they wanted to sell photos to me afterwards, and the photos they took were just not good at all, I was not going to pay for only half of my kid’s face for the photo. I was a bit annoyed and it got even worse when we spent the money(1000TL/2p)for the ATV ride, finally got to the scenic point, but the whole spot where you can take unblocked view photo is a prohibited blocked area, only their authorized photographer is allowed to take photos, and of course that costs extra money. Long story short, aside from the animals and the nature, I don’t know what to recommend.
Everything was fine We just expected fewer stops with commercial content (they were always trying to sell us something)
Pick up and Drop was nice. Vehicle was comfirtable. We need to keep cash to participate in all activities where ever bus stops. Lunch was okey. Didnt get time to see vilage that was included. Also Glass bridge was not included. Its an average tour and can go when you want to add some activities in your Turkey trip.
Not as advertised! Didn’t get any notification of time of pick up. Had to contact your operator to be collected, subsequently waited an hour in hotel lobby as just forgotten. Waited 6hrs before seeing any countryside! Every stop (6 in total) required additional money for activities. If you didn’t participate in activities you just had to wait around until participants finished. Tour guide nice enough chap but didn’t give any commentary, just simply his name! Worst trip I have ever experienced wanting a full refund. Waste of a days holiday!
