Seeing the dolphins was great in their natural habitat, however there were so many boats, that most probably scared them, so this does need to be looked at. The island we were supposed to visit was private my assumption was that we could snorkel off of it, but this was not the case, so slightly misleading however seeing all the fish in the sea was amazing. The beaches we were taken too were beautiful and well worth visiting, the only downside is the continuous hassle you get from beach vendors it does not stop!
Caveat Emptor! Although they use a sailing ship to sell you on this tour there is no sailing on this tour. Although they call it a Mnemba Island tour there is no going to Mnemba Island on this tour. you board an old fragile fiberglass dinghy to chase down dolphins, then use a rusty old ladder to get in and out of the water, A tetanus shot waiting to happen. You maybe get less than a minute of time in the water before the dolphins take off or the other 10 boats of people scare them off. its not worth the price. Especially when they misrepresent what actually happens. Feeding sea turtles at the aquarium was the only highlight.
Our family had such a lovely time exploring the islands around Zanzibar City. The beaches were beautiful, the water was clear, and everything felt calm and relaxing. We really enjoyed visiting Changuu Island and Nakupenda Sandbank. The kids had so much fun, and it was nice to see them learning while enjoying nature. The boat rides were smooth and well organized, so we felt safe the whole time. Overall, it was a simple, fun, and memorable trip for our family, and we would happily recommend it to others.
Best trip I’ve done in Zanzibar. Simba was a great driver and Amina was an incredible guide. She was very knowledgeable, very friendly and was always making sure I was having a good time and getting what I wanted out of the trip. I couldn’t recommend the pair of them enough. Pick up and drop off were exactly the times originally stated which was a pleasant surprise based on other trips too 10/10
Day trip with a great team. Welcoming, explanation, humor, kindness, everything is there. Thank you to all the team for a great day. Go ahead with your eyes closed you won't be disappointed.
Driver and guide were good. Snorkeling was difficult with crowded boats hovering over the reef. Bleached reef and not many fish. Maybe it would be different on another day. However Kendwa Beach was beautiful.
I gave them 3stars because because there is very good way of transport, drinks and fruits from this tour I really enjoyed
Experience owesome feel at Kendwa beach in Zanzibar. A lovely place to be with amazing touch of assorted activities. Super nice weather
Superb experience!! We've seen the dolphins quickly, we're taking our time for snorkeling. Same with turtles. The guide was very good. I highly recommend
We traveled from Dar es Salaam to Zanzibar on the fast ferry for a full day tour. Our tour guide Omar and Driver Khalid was waiting at the port when we arrived. Although our day would be short because we would have to return by 4:00pm to catch the Ferry back to Dar es salaam, they were very accommodating. We loved seeing the sea turtles and swimming with dolphins. If we had more time we would have loved to stay more time at Kendwa beach. Omar and khalid taught us how to count and we enjoyed singing while we were in the car. If we come this way again we would definitely ask for Omar and Khalid because they are professional, kind and have a warm sprit. We highly recommend this tour if you have the time to stay 2 days overnight.
