La visite d'une journée complète du lac Titicaca aux îles Uros et Taquile est un moyen populaire et le meilleur pour observer la vie sur ces îles éloignées. À 3812 mètres d'altitude (12506 pieds), le lac Titicaca est reconnu comme le lac navigable le plus haut du monde. Le lac Titicaca chevauche la frontière entre le Pérou et la Bolivie. Une vaste portion du lac appartient au Pérou. Il abrite de nombreuses îles éloignées différentes où la pêche et l'agriculture sont la principale source de revenus. Les îles flottantes d'Uros, Taquile et Amantani sont les principales et sont ouvertes au tourisme. Au cours de cette excursion d'une journée complète, vous visiterez les îles flottantes d'Uros et de l'île de Taquile avec notre expert en voyages local bilingue (anglais et espagnol). Vous aurez un aperçu de la vie des habitants ici et de la façon dont ils maintiennent leur vie quotidienne avec un minimum de ressources. Les habitants ici ne sont pas touchés par la modernité et maintiennent leurs traditions et coutumes séculaires. Ils parlent encore en aymara et en quechua.

Itinéraire
Votre visite épique commence par un transfert vers l'embarcadère où vous embarquerez pour une promenade en bateau de 25 minutes pour voir la vie sur les îles flottantes d'Uros. Lorsque vous commencerez à naviguer, vous aurez une vue imprenable sur les sommets andins enneigés au loin. Alors que nous atteindrons les rives des îles Uros, les habitants vous réserveront un accueil chaleureux et vous feront découvrir leur vie sur cette île artificielle. Ici, les gens parlent aymara, notre guide vous apprendra quelques mots pour que vous puissiez les saluer dans leur langue. Le chef de la communauté démontrera comment ils construisent ces îles et en partagera l'histoire. Si vous le souhaitez, vous pouvez acheter des souvenirs ici. Les habitants proposeront ensuite un court trajet sur leur bateau en roseau totora jusqu'à l'île principale d'Uros (cela a un coût supplémentaire de 10 Soles). Vous aurez du temps libre pour flâner, l'île est également faite de roseau totora. Une fois que vous aurez fait le plein d'histoire et de vues, nous embarquerons pour un voyage de 2 heures jusqu'à Taquile.
Comme le bateau s'approcherait des rives de l'île de Taquile, notre expert local vous donnera une brève information sur la vie des habitants ici. Il faut presque 45 minutes de marche pour monter la colline jusqu'au sommet d'où vous pourrez contempler la vue. Taquile abrite le meilleur de l'artisanat andin. Ici, les hommes tricotent tandis que les femmes filent la laine. Ici, les gens s'habillent en fonction de leur état civil. Notre guide vous l'expliquera en détail. Un chef de village vous fera une démonstration sur la façon dont ils teignent la laine à l'aide de légumes. Après une brève introduction, nous nous arrêterons pour déjeuner dans un restaurant local. Après le déjeuner, nous redescendrons vers la jetée et embarquerons sur notre bateau pour un retour à Puno. La distance de 36 kilomètres (22 miles) sera parcourue environ en deux heures et demie. Nous arriverons à Puno vers 17h00. Notre représentant vous rencontrera et vous ramènera à votre hôtel dans le centre-ville.

Little content and superficial information regarding the place, the inhabitants, the history, etc., etc. Too much commercial interest in selling you crafts, boat rides, and taking you to lunch at a place that is not accessible to everyone.

A perfect day trip from Puno! One of the guides, Julio, personally picked me up from my hotel and took me to the shuttle bus, which was a great start to the day. I was then placed in Fausto's group, and he was an outstanding guide. His English was excellent, and he was incredibly knowledgeable about the local history and cultures. Pablo was another standout guide who gave entertaining and informative commentary during the boat cruise, making the journey even more enjoyable. Visiting the local families on Uros was a truly special experience, and lunch on Taquile Island was exceptional. We enjoyed delicious quinoa soup followed by fresh trout with Peruvian potatoes, and there was also a vegetarian option available. The transport was comfortable, the entire day was well organized, and it offered fantastic value for money. A must-do experience when visiting Puno!

We did the full day tour with guide Ruben and it was very unique experience. Nancy picked us up from the hotel on the day of the tour and she was very kind and helpful. They also stored our bags while we were on the tour. Taquile island involved a bit of hike but it was very well organised with regular stops. The views were out worldly and the lunch was very delicous. Highly recommend the tour and Discover Lake Titicaca. A big plus if you get Ruben as your guide.

The full day Lake Titicaca tour was an excellent experience. Visiting the Uros Flaoting islands and Taquile Island was fascinating,and the scenery on the lake was stunning. We opted for this full day trip before travelling to Bolivia and we are very happy with everything. The communication, guide, transfers everything was efficient. The guide was very knowledgable. I specially enjoyed the secoond island we visited as it had lot of cultural value and the views were very nice.

This was a perfect day trip from Puno, the pickup was very well cordinated and the guide was very knowledgable and passionate to share information about the local traditions and customs. Lunch was served in Taquile island in a local family restaurant overlooking the valley. Highly reccomend.

Despite the disrupted weather in the morning, everything was great. We had a private tour of the two islands. The sun appeared in a magnificent setting... Two completely different islands... but authentic... Stunning landscapes!

A very friendly guide and professional staff. Everything was perfect from start to end with no unpleasant surprises. The tour included visits to two different islands and locals were welcoming and explained about their traditions and customs. The floating islands was a little touristic but quite different in a pleasant way.
