Fabulous tour with lots of wildlife. Apart from lions, we also saw a leopard. The lunch beside the river was superb.
Incredible jeep safari with Cobra as our guide! Saw lots of animals and was given plenty of opportunities to take photos and videos. Cobra also took the time to provide information about the wildlife while also doing all the driving. We were very impressed! Lunch was great with plenty of options and beautiful surrounds. Unfortunately the boat ride in the afternoon did not live up to our expectations. The seats were uncomfortable and the boat did not seem to have a higher gear or reverse so we did spend a lot of time stuck in reeds. We also got so close to a crocodile that we scared it away as we were unable to stop before reaching the bank. As the driver/guide was having so much trouble with the boat, we did not receive any information from him and were just told repeatedly to take photos. The safari also ended on a sour note when we were berated as a group for not tipping everyone (even though we were told it was optional). We were particularly unimpressed by this as we had tipped the person who was telling us we should be tipping everyone who had provided a service. Special mention to our driver on the Zimbabwean side, Eddie. His driving was impeccable and he provided us with so many great stories and interesting information which we felt was far beyond our expectations. Thanks Eddie!
The tour was excellent, very organized and exceeded my expectations. Safari is incredible, and having the experience of boating in the river has made everything even more special.
Pesry arrived on time to take us to the Zambia border and was an excellent driver dodging the many potholes. She looked after us at the border check ins. Our guide Kobra had an amazing knowledge on the terrain and was a land 4x4 driver as well as the boat ride. The boat is the perfect size to navigate close to the animals. We saw a wide variety of animals up close including many of the big 5. The lunch was very good at a beautiful resort. Kobra had a knack of knowing where the large animals would be and made the trip an amazing day Pesry was waiting at the boarder posts to take us back to our lodge. Highly recommended
This was a great tour. Our guides went way above expectations and the wildlife was spectacular. Highly recommended.
Well organized trip! Very smooth - appreciate that Pamela suggested getting multi-entry visa before us arriving Zimbabwe, which made cross-border tours as hassle free as possible! Keep in mind this is the single day safari only meant to give you a flavor of safari.
Wow what a fantastic experience. Firstly pick up was on time. There was assistance to get us through the border crossings both ways. Safari guides tried their best so that we could see many animals. They not only relied on radios but also tracked lions using their paw prints (this was very impressive). Lunch was good, very little options for vegetarians though. The river cruise was great, however no many animals to see apart from crocodiles and hippos. Overall, I would recommend.
We had a terrific time. Cobra was an excellent guide! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It was especially enjoyable to enjoy both land and water.
Cobra, our Botswana side guide is very professional, kind, and helpful. He's the best route guide. Very knowledgeable too. Hope all tour guide like him
Not my first safari experience but it was the most enjoyable one as it was well-organised. Buffet lunch at the lodge was great. It was nice to have the iced water and soft drinks from the cooler box as the weather was quite hot. Appreciated our guide Cobra's effort to drive us up close to the animals. The boat ride was a great opportunity to see the animals in a different habitat.
