Overall it was a good day. The game drive was awesome and the Buffett lunch was filling. Transfers to Botswana were easy. The only down side was the boat got stuck in mud for an hour. We never really got to finish our boat safari because we waited so long to be rescued from being stuck in the mud. I think they still should have drive us down the river more or refunded part of the experience because we missed a lot of the boat safari.
An absolutely fabulous day! Hotel pick up, one hour drive to Botswana border with help from the guides to get you through immigration which is fairly quick and then 1/2 day land tour - excellent lunch at a beautiful lodge Mowana - and then 1/2 day on water. From pick up to drop off roughly 11 hours. Of course it’s the animals that make the safari and they really showed up for us today we saw soooooo much loads of giraffe elephants crocodiles on and on ✨ special thx to the crew Philip Walter and Chopta you guys rocked the day and our time with you tyssm :) side note: pls have the necessary visa to enter Botswana or else it holds up the entire group while they process you on site 👍🏻
Good quality experience (which will depend upon which safari driver and boat guide that you get). Road to Chobe had alot of potholes, but our transfer driver did his best to avoid most of them. Buffet lunch was good but not gormet. All in all, a good day trip with not border problems for those with the proper KAZA visa.
The tour is wonderful. The hotel pick up is on time and the transitions at the borders are very smooth. The tour guides/drivers are friendly and helpful. We saw a lot of animals in Chobe. Both the boat cruise and the safari game drive are fantastic. It is a relaxing worry-free tour to encounter many African animals, like the elephants, the hippos, the crocdiles, the lion and etc.
Great experience. Picked up on time by Phillip who was an excellent driver. The game drive was fantastic. These things can be hit and miss, but we managed to see lions, giraffes, elephants, hippos, crocodiles among many others. The afternoon boat safari was great as well. Saw hippos and elephants. Lunch was at a lovely hotel on the water and food was good. You just had to pay for your drinks. Water/soft drinks provided throughout the day on the drives/boat. Tepe was our game driver and she made sure we got to see as much as possible. Would highly recommend this trip.
What an awesome experience. The tour is well planned and you get to truly enjoy the experience. The lunch was super nice, the lunch venue awasome. Our guides were very pleasant and knowledgeable, the cruise safari was a new and fun experience, it was nice to see river animals up close. We were truly well taken care of.
Had a great time on our day trip from Victoria Falls to Chobe National Park in Botswana. Pick up, drop off, and boarder crossing were all easy and while it was green season, and we didn’t see an over abundance of animals, the ones we did see were patient and we were able to get some wonderful photos. Lunch was also a great buffet at a nice lodge and the boat tour was a lovely way to end the day. Definitely a great way to spend a day!
I had an amazing trip to Chobe with this tour. They were exteemely professional and punctual. I texted them on Whatsapp beforehand to confirm the pickup place and they responded super quickly and were available for all the questions i had. The trip itself is super nice - they drive you to the border for 1h, then you transfer to a jeep for the Chobe safari, afterwards we had an amazing buffer lunch (much better than what i expected - amazing food and fancy lodge) and the last part was a Chobe river cruise with a knowledgble guide. I was here in March and saw some great animal sightings - giraffe, elephant, impalas, kudu, crocodile, hippo, buffalo.
Amazing, my guide was amazing, she didn’t follow other guides and took us to see most animals first.. we completed the big five! A really amazing day and the lunch was such a great surprise, thank you again
Amazing day, just what a safari day should be like. Our guide was amazing. In the afternoon our boat safari was also amazing, sadly the weather came in but not before we got to see most things.
