Rencontrez votre guide et votre petit groupe à la première heure du matin dans un emplacement pratique à la lisière du quartier gothique de Barcelone. Montez à bord d'un minibus privé pour une heure de route jusqu'à Montserrat. En cours de route, votre guide vous donnera quelques informations sur Barcelone, la Catalogne et Montserrat elle-même pour préparer le décor de votre expérience.
Il sera encore tôt quand vous arriverez à Montserrat, donc vous battrez la foule qui a tendance à arriver plus tard dans la matinée. Explorez la basilique et le monastère du XIe siècle avec votre guide. Ils partageront des histoires de religion, de nature et d'histoire qui vous aideront à apprécier Montserrat plus que si vous aviez tenté de naviguer seul dans cet espace fascinant. Entre autres histoires, votre guide vous parlera de la célèbre Madone noire (La Moreneta), une statue en bois sculpté du XIIe siècle que de nombreux pèlerins croient avoir des pouvoirs de guérison. Visitez le petit mais impressionnant musée d'art sur place avec des peintures de Dalí et Picasso, randonnez jusqu'à un point de vue panoramique à proximité, explorez le marché fermier local, ou prenez une tasse de café dans le café.
Votre dernière étape de cette excursion d'une journée est une cave familiale de cava, où le propriétaire vous fera visiter. Sirotez un verre de cava de bienvenue avant de partir en 4x4 vers les vignes. Profitez d'une promenade relaxante parmi les vignes, et si en saison, vous aurez peut-être même la chance de faire un peu de taille ou de cueillette de raisin vous-même. Ensuite, c'est l'heure d'un déjeuner maison préparé par le propriétaire et sa famille. Asseyez-vous à une table extérieure surplombant le vignoble et savourez un délicieux déjeuner avec des produits régionaux de haute qualité et accompagnés des meilleurs vins de la bodega. Vous terminerez par un aperçu du processus d’embouteillage et d’étiquetage à l’intérieur de l’usine de production (un invité chanceux pourra même emporter une bouteille personnalisée) avant de retourner à Barcelone.

We originally were not on this tour, but rebooked after seeing the reviews on the one we originally booked on and man, are we glad that we did! Ariana was an amazing host. She gave us so many great tidbits of knowledge. Ariana went out of her way to ensure we knew about the culture of the region which I really enjoyed. The group was respectful of the language and of the Basílica. Montserrat was stunning and very moving and we were there well before the crowds. The timing was very good. Then the winery tour was such a highlight of the day. The family winery was everything i could have wished for in an afternoon. I loved the wines, the family vibes, the lunch, the cellar tour, the 4x4 - I could go on and on. 100% worth the investment for a beautiful day with flawless transportation and two beautiful cultural experiences!
An incredible experience! One of the best tours we have done all over Europe. Ariana was simply amazing! So informative and kind. Monserrat was basically empty when we arrived. My husband has a severe tree nut allergy, and we were well taken care of. He felt confident eating on the tour. They also kept our wine glasses full. I would recommend to everyone!
We took this day tour with Ariana as our guide. She was not only knowledgeable about the different areas but she was so much fun and added to the overall experience. We got to Monserrat early before the crowds arrived. Then we went to the cava winery. This was the highlight of the trip. Joan the owner not only drove us through his vineyard, he personally served us our lunch. He was warm and welcoming, and provided us with so much information about his land and business. A truly memorable experience that I will never forget!

Ariana and Georgina were a true delight to our unexpected trip. I would recommend this to anyone coming to Barcelona for a true cultural experience in Catalon history and wine.
Arianna was a wonderful tour guide who provided a lot of information about the Catalan region and customs. We had enough time at Montserrat to view the main points of interest but the highlight was the visit to the winery. We learned so much about winemaking and cava in particular and had a delicious lunch in a gorgeous setting in the vineyard. I highly recommend this tour.
