Avez-vous déjà pensé à visiter une ville historique pour admirer les vestiges d'une époque révolue ? Vous commencerez votre visite d'Alexandrie par une prise en charge rapide à votre hôtel au Caire ou à Gizeh pour vous diriger vers Alexandrie, en vous arrêtant en chemin pour utiliser les toilettes et prendre une tasse de café.
À notre arrivée, nous avons la chance d'explorer l'amphithéâtre romain en marbre de Kom El-Deka, qui accueillait autrefois plus de 800 personnes. Son jardin d'agrément, ses thermes romains au sol en mosaïque et ses maisons sont de magnifiques sites qui valent le détour.
En poursuivant l'exploration des catacombes de Kom El Shoqafa, vous visiterez ce site archéologique considéré comme une immense nécropole et un cimetière royal avec un mélange unique de points culturels grecs, égyptiens et romains.
C'est l'occasion idéale pour visiter la colonne de Pompée, la colonne triomphale romaine la plus importante d'Alexandrie.
Déjeunez dans un restaurant local. En poursuivant le voyage, nous ferons ensuite un arrêt photo à la Bibliothèque d'Alexandrie, l'un des plus grands dépôts du monde antique, suivi d'une promenade le long de la citadelle de Qaitbay construite au-dessus du phare d'Alexandrie en ruine.
Vous serez ramené à votre hôtel au Caire ou à Gizeh à la fin de l'excursion.

Good and interesting guided tour of Alexandria from Maha Emam. In addition, the transfer from Cairo worked out well.
We had a great time and a great tour. The tour guide was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. She was an egiptologist and shared her expertise in Egyptian and Greek. Roman art and history. We covered the catacombs ( very crowded), the Roman theater, and the famous lighthouse ordered by Alexander the Great. We had a great lunch ( seafood) at the local restaurant with a Mediterranean sea view. We had no time left for the Coptic church and history in Alexandria. I recommend OceanAir tours.
It was a great experience. We've seen a lot in a very short time. Our great journey has already started in the car with many stories and tales. Can only recommend

The tour was a bit of a mixed bag: + car is comfortable with AC and a good driver + group size was excellent, four people in total + guide is knowledgable, answers all your questions during the ride + the logistics are well organized, you skip most of the lines On the negative side: - the guide was chasing us through the sites like crazy, we were done with the program before lunch already some of the steps were a real downer (2mins in front of the library, not entering the main building in the citadel, ...), overall we were back in the - the language skils of our guide (the tour was in German) were okay-ish, still one had to concentrate a lot in order to understand everything - the restaurant for lunch is full with masses of tour groups, the drinks are charged extra (overpriced) and the overall atmosphere is not very nice As always with these trips, the experience depends very much on the guide. The trip would have been way better if we had not been rushed that much through the sites

Our tour guide, Heba, was amazing! We couldn’t had a better one. She knew pretty much everything and took the time to take good pictures of us, gave us fresh water bottles and was patient when we took extra time to admire the Mediterranean view.

We had the pleasure of touring Alexandria on September 4th with Ahmed Zaki, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Our tour included the ancient Roman amphitheater, the catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa, Pompey’s Pillar, and the Qaitbay Citadel. Ahmed’s knowledge of each site was incredible—he brought history to life with fascinating details and stories that gave us a much deeper appreciation of Alexandria’s rich past. From the very beginning, Ahmed impressed us with his professionalism. He reached out a couple of days before our tour to confirm the pickup time, and he was always quick to respond to our questions. He even took care to ask about dietary preferences ahead of time—I am a pescatarian, and he made sure lunch was ready for us at a charming restaurant overlooking the Mediterranean. It was the perfect pause in the middle of a busy and exciting day. Throughout the tour, Ahmed was not only extremely knowledgeable but also warm, engaging, and a pleasure to spend time with. The Alexandria tour was absolutely amazing! We were fortunate to have a highly knowledgeable and capable tour guide, Reem. She was thorough in her explanations and took the time to ensure that we understood everything, which was especially helpful since I tend to ask a lot of questions. The visit to the Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa was highly educational, and I was truly amazed by the rich history of the area. However, the real highlight of the day was the Qaitbay Citadel.
