Excursion d'une journée aux Météores depuis Halkidiki
Description
Les Météores ont été nommées d'après Saint Athanase, la Météorité, propriétaire de l'église Big Meteorou. Depuis 1988, les monastères des Météores occupent une position sur le catalogue des monuments du patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO. Construit sur le sommet des rochers, dans un haut qui atteint les 400 mètres, les Météores sont considérées comme l'une des plus grandes créations de la nature, et l'un des monuments les plus importants de l'Orthodoxie. Aujourd'hui, seulement 7 des monastères historiques sont utilisés, dont 6 sont ouverts au public, qui sont: • Le monastère d'Anapausa • Le monastère de Rusanu • Le monastère "Big Meteoro" • Le monastère de Varlaam • Le monastère d'Agia Triada • Le monastère d'Agios Stefanos

Itinéraire
Nous viendrons vous chercher à votre hôtel à Halkidiki à 07h30 et nous suivrons la route en direction de Meteora, ce qui prendra environ 3,5 à 4 heures jusqu'à ce que nous y arrivions. Si vous le souhaitez, nous pouvons faire une courte halte à Trikala pour une pause-café au bord de la rivière Litheos, puis nous visiterons les monastères de Météores. Cette visite merveilleuse sera complétée dans les villages pittoresques de Kalambaka ou de Kastraki, où vous pourrez avoir en option un déjeuner grec traditionnel! Ensuite, nous reviendrons à Halkidiki. La durée de ces visites est d’environ 10 à 12 heures, Météores étant à environ 350 kilomètres de Halkidiki (selon le village).

- Les monastères ont un code vestimentaire strict: les hommes doivent porter un pantalon et des manches longues, les femmes doivent porter une jupe longue. Si vous vous présentez en short, un pantalon et une jupe seront fournis.

Dimitris is a great person to spend time with, very kind and knowledgeble person. The car was extremely comfortable and an unexpected bonus, we were treated with some fruits :) Definitely reccomend this to everyone, especially in company with Dimitris. We have visited 3 monastaries and had an amazing lunch in the restaurant nearby.
Dimitrios was the perfect guide - looked after us all day. Got us to all of the four monasteries we wanted to go to. Magical experience!

Absolutely awesome trip! Experience of the lifetime and we will go back there. Perfect weather and even rain didn’t make it worse but better as it was needed after visiting monasteries. Whole trip was possible thanks to professional and very nice driver Dimitris. Dimitris knew where to go. Knew how to get there and waited for us in perfect car and all Covid needed equipment. He made this trip superb in every detail. Great driving skills not only during dry but especially during waterfall from heaven on the way back! Meteora Monastery it’s most beautiful place I’ve ever been to and will be back for more..view from there it’s too awesome to capture by any camera. Made my holidays worth every penny! My husband and I had an excellent trip to Meteora with Prime Taxi! Our driver Dimitri was professional, friendly and had great local knowledge. He made sure our journey was as comfortable as possible and provided us with hand wipes, water, wine and fruit! He really went above and beyond. The drive to Meteora and back was long, but Dimitri made sure it was fun and showed us many beautiful landscapes along the way. Please note that this tour only includes a car & driver, not a tour guide. If you want a tour of the monasteries, you’ll have to organise these separately. I would 100% recommend the private tours with Prime Taxi.
We had a very nice day. Dimitris was in time, very good English, safe drive, very knowledgeable, couldn't do enough for us. Nice touch the wine and fruits and the good quality water.
