Description
Cette magnifique cascade, l'une des plus hautes de la région, fait tomber en cascade une eau glaciaire cristalline d'une hauteur de 70 mètres dans son bassin. Le sentier panoramique menant à la cascade de Materuni, située à 2500 mètres d'altitude, serpente à travers des vallées et des collines entourées de forêt tropicale humide, aux côtés du café, de la banane et de l'avocat « shambas » - le terme kiswahili pour les fermes. Après avoir dégusté un déjeuner local, vous partirez pour les sources chaudes de Chemka. Nous viendrons vous chercher à Materuni après le déjeuner et vous transporterons aux sources chaudes de Chemka. Le voyage vers les sources thermales se fait sur une route très cahoteuse et sinueuse, faisant durer le trajet plus de 40 minutes. À votre arrivée aux sources thermales, vous avez la possibilité de nager, vous détendre, déjeuner et vous prélasser au soleil. Si vous le souhaitez, nous pouvons vous préparer un barbecue pendant que vous vous baignez. Pour les groupes réservant cette visite avec plus de 10 participants, une réduction raisonnable est offerte par groupe.

Cette cascade très impressionnante est l'une des plus hautes de la région, elle traverse des vallées et des collines couvertes de forêt tropicale humide, de café, de banane et d'avocat "Shambas", le mot swahili pour les fermes.
Vous partirez des cascades de Materuni et vous conduirez à Maji Moto. Cette route panoramique vous fait sortir des sentiers touristiques et offre un aperçu de la vie locale : marchés animés et fermes locales. Vous passerez ensuite quelques heures à vous baigner dans les eaux agréablement chaudes, à vous balancer sur la balançoire, à vous détendre à l'ombre des arbres tachetés de soleil et à vous régaler de spécialités locales telles que les chips mayai.

We did a day tour with Johnny to Materuni waterfalls and Chemka hotsprings and everything was perfect. The car, food, stops, and above all our guide. Thank you for the tour, the good mood and everything you showed and taught us ! Particularly enjoyed stopping in the wild to watch the sunset over Mount Meru and the Kilimandjaro. We would definitely recommend Suricata and Johnny !
We had an amazing day! Our tour guide Jonny was the best, we shared a lot of laughs and he gave us many new information. We started the day by hiking to the Materuni Waterfall, then went to see how coffee is made, had a traditional lunch and finished with visiting the hot springs. Would recommend 10/10

The tour was very nice, waterfalls, coffee and food were very good as well as the hot springs, perfect to relax after the hike to the waterfalls. We went with the tour guide called Jonny, he was really nice, explained everything and took perfect care of everything. We totally recommend this tour!

After a Great safari experience we decided on a day tour. We visited the large art gallery first, which was impressive. We then did a Coffee tour which took us from the fields through the entire process. Very neat and informative. The meal was delicious and the coffee very good. Karibu coffee farm was great. Johnny was our guide and he was very good. He went above and beyond. He even took us to the Maasi market to shop for local gifts. Recommend.

Interesting tour of coffee garden, whole life cycle of growth, harvest, process, ending with tasting fresh ground and roasted coffee. Included lunch which was excellent. Stopped at Art Gallery before and and the Maasi market afterwards. Johnny, our host and driver, was wonderful and accommodating.

We had an amazing one-day tour to Materuni Waterfalls and the Chemka Hot Springs, and a big part of that was thanks to Johnny. He was super attentive throughout the entire day, made sure everything went smoothly, and shared so many interesting facts about local culture and life in Tanzania, which made the experience even more special. We also had an excellent guide during the hike to Materuni Waterfalls — very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The coffee experience was wonderful and so much fun, and the Chagga local lunch was absolutely delicious. Everything was well organized, and we truly enjoyed every moment. Highly recommend this tour!
The trip was great. I really enjoyed having a cold refreshing shower inside of this great waterfall, it feels like cleaning Your soul. The coffee tour part was also very interesting so You learn how the coffee is grown and prepared and the coffee itself was so tasty I drank 5 cups :)
