Faites-vous chercher à la gare d'Udaipur Junction, à la gare routière ou à votre hôtel situé à Udaipur et partez pour le temple Jain à Ranakpur. Vous pouvez choisir une heure de départ qui convient à votre emploi du temps. Après avoir quitté Udaipur, vous arriverez au temple jain de Ranakpur. Les habitants croient que le temple a été construit au 15ème siècle sous la direction de Seth Dharna Shah, adepte du jaïnisme et homme d'affaires de profession. Shah a construit le temple avec l'aide de Rana Kumbha, le roi de Mewar, qui a demandé que le temple soit nommé d'après lui en échange de son soutien. Explorez les quatre entrées menant à la chambre principale du temple, chacune menant à une idole «Adinath». Vous aurez également le temps d'admirer les cinq piliers principaux du temple, chacun portant les idoles de divers «Tirthankaras». Le plus grand pilier, au centre de tous les autres, porte une idole d'Adinath. Après avoir visité le magnifique temple jaïn, vous continuerez à Jodhpur, où vous serez déposés à votre hôtel ou à votre emplacement préféré.

The pick up was on time, the car was very comfortable (with a/c) and the driver was safe, professional and friendly. The stop at the temple was really interesting and enjoyable. The driver took us, at our request, to a nice little restaurant for a snack lunch but just a drink or full meal were also available.

Originally our booking included the Jain temple and a visit to the fort on our trip to Jodhpur, but since I was not feeling great and since the roads to the fort were bumpy, Bittu aka Shankar from Udaipur who was our guide and driver suggested a tour to the jungle. We had a great engaging day with Bittu and he was very knowledgeable about the area and the terrain. More importantly Bittu arranged for food/snack/drink breaks at good places along the route, we not only had a great travel day the added bonus was the local treats. Not only was Bittu an exceptional driver and we felt safe with his driving, he was good conversationalist keeping us engaged while give us a superb overall travel experience. I rate Bittu from Udaipur highly and wish him continued professional success!

No doubt the sights are beautiful here in Rajasthan but our driver was driving slow and attends a zillion calls while driving that lowers the pace. We visited haldighati and ranakhpur temple on the way to jodhpur. The Jain temple is a peaceful place.
That what w professional service. My driver (Shankar Bittu from Udaipur) was on time in my hotel waiting for me. He is a good driver, I felt safe. During the ride he explained hindu customs and culture to me. I had enough time in Jain temple for taking pics and walking around. He called my hotel in Jodhpur and arranged a tuk-tuk for me as streets in the Old City were too narrow to get there by car. We had a stop for lunch and a short break for tea. Bittu is very friendly and helpful. I had a good experience.
