Description
Profitez d'un safari à vélo dans le parc national de Hell's Gate, d'une promenade dans les gorges et d'une belle promenade en bateau sur le lac Naivasha pour voir des hippopotames et de nombreux oiseaux. C'est un voyage à ne pas manquer. Des paysages spectaculaires, notamment des falaises imposantes, des gorges creusées par l'eau, des tours rocheuses abruptes, des volcans recouverts de broussailles et des panaches de vapeur géothermique en font l'un des parcs les plus atmosphériques d'Afrique. Observation de la faune, nidification des rapaces dans les falaises, sources chaudes, station géothermique d'Olkaria, cachette de raptor de Mervyn Carnelley, circuits touristiques, sentiers nature et spa de santé.

Itinéraire
La visite commence par une prise en charge à 7h du matin à votre hôtel de Nairobi. Le voyage se déroule dans la vallée du Grand Rift en s'arrêtant au point de vue pour la photographie. Arrivée à Hells Gate vers 9h30. Début de la randonnée à vélo à Hells Gate pendant environ 3 heures. Faire du vélo dans le parc est une grande aventure car vous pouvez faire du vélo sur 7 kilomètres avant de vous reposer au poste de garde forestier. Visitez ensuite les gorges à l'intérieur du parc. Les gorges sont de petites dépressions minces de masse terrestre où vous pouvez marcher en dessous. Certaines zones ont formé des grottes où vous pouvez vous promener. Plus tard, terminez la visite en ramenant les vélos à la porte du parc.
Conduisez jusqu'au lac Naivasha pour un déjeuner facultatif (à vos frais) au restaurant Marina. Ensuite, explorez la faune du lac Naivasha lors d'une excursion en bateau d'une heure (non incluse dans le prix). Repérez les hippopotames qui s'attardent juste à la surface de l'eau et observez une partie de la diversité des oiseaux; Les aigles pêcheurs africains, les flamants nains, la spatule africaine et le petit grèbe sont tous communs ici. A 16h00, terminez la journée par un transfert retour à votre hôtel à Nairobi.

I couldn’t recommend this tour enough! It was easy to arrange and the perfect way to spend the day. I ended up having a private tour and my guides Jimmy & Dominic were such a joy to spend the day with. They were super attentive and did everything to make sure I had a great and successful time. Charles, who took me on the bike tour through Hells Gate was also amazing. He was very informative, kind and took great photos of me with the animals! A wonderful day! Lake navaisha was beautiful, many very beautiful birds in addition to hippos. The bike tour in hell gate is also a unique experience! But the best part is for me the driver: Jimmy is on top, I had a great day with him

We had an unforgettable time with our guide Bernard. The valley where we then hiked was the inspiration for the scene from Lion King where Mufasa dies – it’s a beautiful place. The boat trip was worth the extra money despite bad weather – there were also plenty of hippos, eagles, waterfowl, zebras, antelopes to see. I can recommend this whole tour 100%.

I booked the trip late but it turned out to be the most amazing experience I had in Kenya. Jimmy is a very lovely and professional guy, he came right on time to pick me up and the whole trip felt like 2 friends going on a tour. Sawa, He’s the “East African Man” that’s his new name lol. I enjoyed his company, the gists, song vibes, historical stories about Kenya and the beautiful pics. I didn’t want the trip to end. The tour guides at the Hell’s gate and Naivasha lake were really nice as well. Betty was incredibly helpful in organizing our tour. We had specific timing needs and requested to start and finish earlier than the standard itinerary, which she kindly accommodated without any issues. Jimmy, our tour driver, was an absolute delight. He was not only professional but also great company, making the journey enjoyable and filled with good conversation and laughter. Our first stop was Hell's Gate for a cycling tour. Jimmy dropped us off at the bike shed, where we met a local guide who accompanied us on a scenic ride through the park. The guide provided interesting insights as we explored the park and walked through the gorge. The views were breathtaking, and we were lucky to spot a variety of animals up close.
