Délaissant la ville animée, notre voyage nous emmène hors route, nous plongeant dans la beauté accidentée du paysage. À l'approche du point de départ de la randonnée, le lac Bovilla entre en vue, préparant le terrain pour une expérience de plein air remarquable. Notre destination, le sommet du mont Gamti, attend ceux qui cherchent un défi supplémentaire. L'ascension, d'une durée d'environ 1h30, récompense les randonneurs avec une vue imprenable sur les montagnes Gamti et Brari à l'ouest. Après avoir baigné dans la beauté du lac Bovilla et de ses environs, nous reprendrons le chemin de Durrës ou Golem.

Nous commençons notre visite de Durres (votre logement) et Voyage pour 1 heure au lac de Bovilla. Le lac offre un cadre naturel magnifique pour des activités récréatives telles que le pique-nique et la randonnée. En outre, la région entourant le lac est connue pour sa beauté pittoresque, ce qui en fait un endroit préféré pour échapper à l'agitation de la ville et profiter de la nature.
Nous continuerons notre visite par une randonnée sur la montagne Gamti. Mali i Gamtit fait partie de la chaîne de montagnes Dajti, située près de Tirana, la capitale de l'Albanie. C'est une destination populaire auprès des randonneurs et des amoureux de la nature, offrant de magnifiques paysages et divers sentiers pour les activités de plein air. This was my favourite experience of my whole holiday. Female single traveller, felt safe, found some friends. The views are amazing, when you get to the top. Francesco was the guide, wow, so knowledgeable, and fun 😉 The itinerary had changed since my booking, but it meant I got an extra walking tour around Tirana too, so bonus. Shout out to Hasan the driver, for keeping us safe on the slim mountain roads. Highly recommend. Thanks again Francesco and Hasan.

Where do I start! 10/10 amazing experience, led by the one and only Francesco, best tour guide in the city. He had the best energy, best knowledge, best skills. Very professional guide, able to be very calm and collected during emergency situations (not related to our tour). We got picked up from our hotel in Durres, very convenient. Our driver also!!! 10/10 driver, highly trust him with the bumps and crazy narrow streets in the mountains. Highly recommend this experience!
Our tour guide, Claudia, was fantastic; lively, cheerful and really engaging. She even arranged a cupcake and sing along for my birthday. The quick stop in Tirana was great to get a sample of the city. And the mountains/lake…wow!! With an absolute star of a driver navigating those roads, it was a sight to behold. Even if you aren’t a hiker, would definitely recommend the walk to the viewing platform - tiring but so worth it. And down to the restaurant at the bottom for a well earned drink. Fantastic day out.

It was a fantastic experience and trip. We were first up and see bovilla lake, which was absolutely incredibly beautiful. We were leaving in April 2026, so there were no tourists everywhere, but just a few other groups, which was great. We have up on the mountain where you could look out over the lake. We took beautiful pictures. Then we went to Tirana city, where we were shown around by our guide, and were allowed to walk around even afterwards. Our guide Francisco was super good guide who was talking objectively and fun, as well as good at telling about the culture and history. He was also very attentive to people and helped with pictures etc. It was 100% worth the money.
Great trip! Departed on time, we had a lovely drive to the starting point of the hike. Tne guide provide a lot of information, loved his stories. And organization was very smooth, we had toilet breaks, free time on top of the cliff for pictures, he was very helpfull, a s a solo traveler its always nice if someone takes a nice photo! After the hike we had some free time to enjoy a beer and the beautiful view, after that we head back to the car and went to the Castle and the old town. He offered to incluid lunch in our trip, that was in a great location for a very good price. We had the opportunity to try local food and a view to the bazar in town. After visiting the Castle, we had free time to check out the market and we m=went back home. Everything was great, really recommend it!
