Notre chauffeur viendra vous chercher à votre hôtel à Antigua pour vous emmener en 2h30 de route vers les magnifiques hauts plateaux du Guatemala. Ce transfert est privé exclusivement pour vous et votre famille ou vos amis. Ce mode de transport donne l’occasion de s’arrêter le long de la route à plusieurs endroits qui valent la peine d’être visités, tels que le point de vue du lac. Notre guide est un habitant maya de la région qui partagera avec vous ses connaissances en tant que guide certifié, mais aussi son expérience de la vie en tant que descendant maya.

L'heure de départ d'Antigua est à 6h. Le long de la route, vous trouverez plusieurs bons restaurants avec de petites expositions artisanales, idéales pour vous arrêter, vous dégourdir les jambes, boire un bon café, prendre un petit déjeuner rapide, utiliser les installations ou faire un peu de shopping si vous êtes intéressé par les produits locaux. Avant d'arriver à destination, il est recommandé de faire un dernier arrêt au magnifique point de vue sur le lac pour prendre des photos. Le programme de la journée est le suivant: • 06h00 - Prise en charge à votre hôtel à Antigua au Guatemala • 7h15 - Arrêt rapide au restaurant Chichoy pour utiliser les installations, prendre un café ou prendre le petit déjeuner • 8h45 - Arrêt rapide au point de vue du lac • 9h00 - Arrivée à Panajachel et temps libre • 9h15 - Excursion en groupe en bateau pour visiter les villages mayas suivants: San Juan, San Pedro et Santiago • 16h00 - Retour à Antigua • 19h00 - Arrivée à Antigua Guatemala

Our driver Mario was kind courteous and safe driver. Made the ride super easy. Joel our Mayan tour guide loves his job and it shows. Speaks three languages English Spanish and Mayan. Great young man. The towns were authentic and something you don’t see very often. Tuk Tuks everywhere and Mayan people all over. We had a great time!

A perfect day trip! We started off with a comfortable (but long!) car ride to Lake Atitlan. Upon arrival, we met our guide, David, and had breakfast with a view. He was a wonderful guide who made sure we experienced all we wanted to see. We loved San Juan and Santiago. We opted to skip San Pedro so our kids could have time swimming in the lake. Would highly recommend this excursion. And if you go, hope you are lucky to have David as well!

A must do experience. Yes, it's a long day and a fair amount of travel but it's worth it. The lake is beautiful, and the trips to the islands situated within it, getting a sense of how people live and work, and the history of both Guatemala and its people made this a great day. Rene, our driver and Joel , our guide , were fantastic.
The Lake Atitlan tour made for a long but interesting day. The three villages we visited on the trip were diverse and worth visiting. Our guide did a good job of explaining the history of the area and the people who live there now. The slight reduction in our rating of this tour is due to the traffic that we encountered on the drive from Antigua to the lake. It's not a reflection on the driver or the guide, but the travel time to and from the lake can be tedious.
