Our tour guide Brian was amazing!! Would highly recommend, such a fun day out going through the forests and waterfalls. The food was also great! Had so much fun with my friends.

Tour was good, although a little rushed. The weather didn’t cooperate, but it is a rain forest. We are an older couple and the tour was young back packers., but we got along well. Our guide Harry was wel informed and very personable.

Scenery was stunning, beautiful locations and enough time in each. Pick up was on time and everything ran to schedule. The guide pointed out a tree kangeroo which was cool and gave stories at each place. The tour lists a max of 21 people on Tripadvisor however there were 28 so it’s a bit busier than you’d expect. There is also very much an 18-30 back packer demographic so you do feel a bit like you’re on a school trip with lots of people talking about traffic light parties and clubbing, and also the guide had to talk in a tone suited to that when giving instructions. If you’re a solo traveller just keep that in mind as if you’re younger, this is for you but if you’re over 40 travelling solo, you might feel a bit disconnected - in a couple or group with friends being older and if that’s your vibe this will also be fine for you. I just stepped back and enjoyed the scenery on my own terms. The guide gave options for both walks and swims in some locations and gave good snippets of info. Also to mention when the reviews mention games - it involves passing a lifesaver on match sticks mouth to mouth. Perhaps not the most inclusive activity for those who don’t feel comfortable with it and don’t want to give reasons, and also culturally for some may not be ideal (or for families with kids). It wasn’t an ice breaker as it was before the final stop and I’m glad it was the end because I quietly opted out without a fuss, but then had to deal with a couple of people yelling out who is the one not playing and got a few stares, so perhaps the guide can point out when announcing the game that people must respect if some don’t want to participate. As if that was at the beginning it would have isolated me totally. Alternatively, there might be more inclusive games to play on the bus that bring people together. The scenery again was great and I enjoyed all of that, I would say that just the back packer party vibe was not my cup of tea as an individual personally, and the group size was larger than listed. I still had a nice time as you can separate out at the sites and do your own thing and there’s lots of quiet nature stuff you can find, I just felt more isolated than on other tours. I would absolutely recommend it to my niece or nephews though, they would have a total blast and this tour company would be perfect for them, they’re good at that market! :) Decent company and guide, and hopefully this helps make you call whether this tour is a fit for you or not :)

Did the Best of both worlds tour with Brian. What an absolute legend! Dude deserves a raise. Always spot on and knows everything.

I arrived at the pickup location listed on my reservation approximately 20 minutes before the scheduled tour start time and waited for about an hour for the pickup. During this time, I attempted to contact the company for assistance. Unfortunately, the company does not use WhatsApp and I do not have an Aussie phone number, so I had to communicate through Viator instead. I then discovered that a message had been sent through Viator the day before informing me of a change to the pickup location and time. At the time, I did not have the Viator app, and the notification sent through Viator was also delivered to my spam folder, so I did not see the change before the tour. Unfortunately, as a result of this last-minute change and the lack of effective communication, I missed the tour. What is particularly concerning is that the pickup location and time were changed less than 24 hours before the tour was scheduled to begin. Even after the change, my reservation on Viator continued to display the original pickup location and time, which understandably added to the confusion. When I contacted the company to request a refund, I was told that I was not eligible because the booking fell within the 48-hour cancellation policy. The circumstances of the missed tour resulted from a significant change to the pickup arrangements made less than 24 hours before the tour, while my reservation continued to show the original details. Please be very careful when booking with this company, and make sure to download the Viator app and regularly check for any last-minute changes to your booking.
