Excursion d'une journée au Caire: pyramides de Gizeh, Sphinx, Memphis et Saqqarah

Our tour was coordinated through our hotel. Hosny, our driver, met us at our hotel on time and gave us a warm welcome. The vehicle was new and spacious. We visited Saqqara and the Serapeum, Memphis and the Giza Pyramids. We stopped for lunch at the most delicious Egyptian buffet. Our guide was very knowledgable and answered all our questions. He also helped us take photos. We feel so fortunate that we had Robert as our guide and Hosny as our driver for the day. We were able to hire Hosny again to drive us around the city and take us to a popular market. We hired him again to drive us to the airport.

We had a fantastic day. Aya was our tour guide, she was very accommodating, took us to all of the places that were less crowded than the big bus tours. Thank you for a great day

My husband and I had a great private tour in Cairo, visiting Saqqara, Memphis, the Green Papyrus Government Outlet (where we were shown how papyrus is made and had the option to purchase some beautiful artwork), the Pyramids of Giza, and finally an Oil and Perfumery Government Outlet (where we enjoyed a free oil-smelling experience - though would probably miss this if we did this again). From the start, Demiana was professional and well-organised, with clear communication before and during the day. She and the driver navigated the roads and crowds smoothly, helping us feel safe and ensuring we made the most of our time at each location. Demiana’s knowledge, enthusiasm, and storytelling were excellent. Her understanding of Egyptian history brought each site to life with insights and details you wouldn’t find in a guidebook. She also went out of her way to make our day comfortable and enjoyable — from pointing out the best photo spots (and taking great photos for us) to choosing a lovely local restaurant for lunch, giving us a taste of Egyptian cuisine. We recommend this tour — a memorable and well-organised experience!

We did a full day tour from Cairo, we saw the pyramids, the sphinx, the museum, we had a lovely lunch and we even managed to fit in a gorgeous boat trip along the River Nile. Our tour guide was called Rasha Yehia Mubarak and she organized everything perfectly from start to finish. Rasha was amazing and showed us everything there is to see. The transport was comfortable for my whole family and Rasha showed us the best that Cairo has to offer. We would definitely recommend Rasha to all our friends and family or to anyone visiting Cairo!

It was an amazing trip. Our tour guides made everything easy and enjoyable for us. They arranged everything from where to eat the best food to where to drink the best coffee to how to take the best photo:)) It was very comfortable and pleasant for us.

Would definitely recommend this tour! Great way to see the highlights on Cairo in a comfortable and enjoyable way. We arrived as the first people at Saqqara, which was an amazing experience in itself. Our tour guide Mina was brilliant as was our driver. Mina was very knowledgeable and spoke very clear English. We couldn't recommend this tour enough!

The trip was amazing we did so many things and seen so much. Must admit the guide and driver were very professional they new absolutely everything guide was so full of information they took care of everything from the minute we met up. Definitely would highly recommend what a great day well worth evey penny and more .

The tour was really well planned. We started from Saqqara complex and continued to Memphis, to then finish with the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. Our guide Maged was super knowledgeable. He gave us a good introduction to Ancient Egypt. He helped us to skip all the hassling of sellers and he made us really enjoy our first day in the country. He also gave us some good tips that we followed for our visit to Luxor some days after. The restaurant where we had lunch was also super nice! Overall, very nice experience!

Our hotel was 200m from the entrance to the pyramids, but the driver picked us up at 8:15 to drive for over 40minutes to go pick up the guide “I don’t know where” and the drive back to the piramids we came from - what an incredible waste of time! She (the guide) barely spoke English or pretended to not understand our questions while spending her time on her phone, or while trying to push us to buy extra’s like camelrides or desert bike rides. She had a friendly character but was a poor guide, possibly more apt in Italian as that seemed to be her speciality. Driver was good but spoke little English. Food was good. Water and entries included in price as agreed. Next time we’ll try another service.

I had a wonderful time during my tour with Hajar! They made an exception to pick me up from the airport and the driver waited patiently there even though my flight was delayed. We did the tour of Giza and Sphinx but they expressed concerns about being too late for Memphis and Saqqara as both close at 4pm (this was was around 2pm) and suggested the Museum. I did not have wifi so could not see that Saqqara was actually open 24/7. I would have loved to see the other 2 monuments but had a fine time at the Museum. I told Hajar I wanted to buy some oils and she was kind enough to take me to a shop she knew. She also took me to an art shop where they show you how Papyrus paper is made. We made a stop at a jewelry shop which was fine but unnecessary as I didn't express interest and it was quite overpriced. Overall, it was a very good tour and I felt comfortable having a personal driver and tour guide as a solo traveler. The only note I would make is do your research on the sites and have conviction about what you want to see in case they try to sway you.
