Despite the tour was organised very well, it seems like we were on a hurry all the time, instead of spending time in the pyramids or museum we had to visit this scamming shops, and I mean total scam which the tour agent played a big role, so we had only 2 hours in pyramids because we had to go to the King Ali’s palace where they invented a beautiful story about the only family remaining in the Egypt who is holding a secret of how the ancient Egyptians made them, they mummified theirs dead and 4000 year later mummies still have an aroma , the family has some farm where they grow and harvest flowers by hand and then making an organic with no chemicals oils which should smell for weeks..Well they just cheap scammers , easily can scam you £300-500 , they just wouldn’t give you a second to think to be alone, they will board you with their hospitality and oils non stop, until you pay ! The tour agent, knows what is happening and probably has some percentage from the deal, so he scamming you to begin with, it’s a shame, because we had a guy Kongo for our tour and apart from this he was great ! Yes, they oils will smell the same with no different aroma, they are very good scammers! Then , instead of spend more time in a museum we had to visit another shop they sell papyrus , small £10 in Cairo, we went to Luxor the other day and they sell them for $1 !Well, there you go, probably I would not go to Egypt any more it’s a shame but that’s what they do, they make tourists not to comeback, so how would they build another Abu Dhabi I have no idea!
After booking a trip, we initially had concerns as communication broke down after payment. But this concern was taken away the day before the trip – we received a message with the pick-up time, and in the morning we were picked up on time by car. The flight in a small plane worked without any problems. At the airport in Hurghada, a photo of us was sent to our guide in Cairo in advance to make it easier for him to find us – a clever and very helpful idea. Our tour guide Sami welcomed us afterwards without waiting. We were a small, very pleasant group (3 couples). The minibus ride through Cairo was extremely informative thanks to Sami's comprehensive explanations. Particularly noteworthy: his very good, clear German, his commitment and his palpable passion for Egyptian culture and history. Visiting the Giza pyramids was an absolute holiday highlight for us, just as impressive was the Sphinx. We made stops at all sights uncomplicated and without waiting by hop-on/hop-off bus. We were particularly surprised by the lunch buffet at Queen Cleopatra – very good, tasty and authentic. Despite originally booking the old museum, we were offered a visit to the new museum – the separate admission was understandable, and the visit was highly recommended. The new Grand Egyptian Museum has left us speechless. Sami's explanations helped to better understand this fascinating culture. The day was tightly organized, the pace demanding in part. From our point of view, the excursion is rather not suitable for children and only partially recommended for families with small children. Conclusion: An all-round successful, highly interesting day with wonderful, passionate explanations and insights. We are impressed and very grateful for this experience. Our guide was our greatest stroke of luck – highly recommended!
This was a fabulous trip with Mozio travel agency. They picked us up from Cairo airport on time and dropped us back on time on departure.
Excellent communication before and during the booked event. Excellent organization with lot of room for individual interest. Add on‘s were communicated clearly w/o pressure to go for Transfers well organized, almost no waiting times at the various steps
We also did the excursion in Cairo. Punctuality and good service. The guide, Halah, very good, made the history of Egypt very enjoyable.
The guide Rachlet has superbly led the trip and told something about everything. He was really very friendly and answered all the questions. The restaurant was okay. The trip was as described plus a few extra things you could do voluntarily. (No need! But worth it!!!) Unfortunately, we learned that we paid 100 euros more per person via TripAdvisor than everyone else in the group. Tip: Book through the tour operators directly, so you save a lot of money.
Vielen Danke fuer ihre Gute Bewrtung

It was our first visit to Cairo and it started with a flight delay. We landed in Cairo an hour late, in Ramadan of all times. During Ramadan, visiting hours are somewhat limited. That was the starting point. At the airport we were received directly and taken by bus to the Egyptian Museum. Our guide Gabriel was already waiting for us there. We were in very good hands with him. He accompanied us expertly through the museum. Then we continued to the pyramids. We decided to take a carriage ride to really see the pyramids. Next item on the agenda was the Sphinx. We arrived there shortly before the end of the opening hours and they wanted to send us away again. Thanks to Gabriel we were allowed through a side entrance to the premises. The subsequent lunch was very good, There was a wide selection of typical dishes. Even as vegetarians we got our money's worth. According to the official program, we were supposed to go back to the airport. However, our return flight was very late, so we would have had to wait more than 3 hours. Gabriel made the suggestion to spend the remaining time on the Nile. So we ended the day with a boat trip on the Nile. At sunset. Mega. Conclusion: We felt really well accompanied and had an unforgettable day thanks to the good organization.

On 16.11.20I24 we made an excellent organized day trip with egypt air and egyptbooking from Hurghada to Cairo. Although our Aholer was waiting for us at the wrong terminal at the airport in Cairo, everything still worked out. Thanks to our guide Khaled, our trip has become a true dream. We fulfilled a long-held wish by visiting the Egyptian Museum and the pyramids. Khaled's explanations were the best we've ever heard from a tour guide. Thank you, Khaled, for your wonderful and vivid explanations of Egyptian history and mythology.
