Good, but be careful with your time, or you will miss some part of the program. Also start as early as you can for this. Golden Temple is impressive, not only by the archtecture, but by its crowds, by the feeling that its saint llace for many. Without it the Yemple would be just another beautiful building. On Wagah Border - if you want selfies, make them before cetemony, not after (or you'll be stuck in traffic jam)
Worth for the price we paid, good service of pilot and service provider We feel we are moving with our family we recommend to other traveller
The guide didn't turn up, and even though the tour operator answered the phone, it was cut off eventually. Texted them on TripAdvisor, but no reply.
Prince the driver was very good. Took me to the sights that were booked also took me to Tarn Taran Sahib . This was because the boarder was closed
Joseph was an excellent driver and was very kind. He took us to all the places as per tour, and was very flexible and friendly. We would like to travel with him and recommend him to others too. Thank you Joseph !!!
The Golden Temple is beautiful. But, people are too aggressive trying to sell you stuff. And you easily are ripped off. My taxi drive cost can differ from 700 Rupee to 250 Rupee to and from the same place. Even the hotel front desk told me not to trust locals. And ALWAYS haggle whatever they try to sell you, starting from 75%. Being ripped off a few time.
Dear Customer, Thank you for leaving the feedback and sorry for the inconvenience you faced during the visit. Mostly in the local market shop keepers and other sellers try to sell the products, especially to foreigners, it is a normal environment to the most of tourist places. The second thing about the taxi rate, we charge a very nominal rate for a day trip to Amritsar as compared to others. Maybe the Hotel person awarded you as you were traveling single in the city, But it's our driver's responsibility to take care of our guests at each and every point. Buying things it's up to the tourist. Thank you
Jagroop gave used today a very pleasant day in Amritsar (the friend I took the tour with didn’t want to join the photo). The hotel pick up was on time (the actual time was agreed the day before and differed from the one mentioned here) with a new and clean car (see picture, 7 seats for 2 person). Since we don’t speak Punjab we asked him to join us for Jallianwala Bagh as well as the golden temple, which he gratefully did. Afterwards he recommended us a very tasty restaurant for lunch before driving us to the Punjab State War Heros' Memorial (our wish). His timing was accurate so we got very good seats for the Wagah border experience and on the way we got to know his nice Punjabi music playlist. Later on we continued with sights based on our wishes. After visiting the Gobind Garh Fort he informed us that he is actually doing already one hour overtime (after around 11 hours having us aboard) so we decided to get back to the hotel. The only thing I can think of as an improvement was his English, although this never was an issue due to his calm and kind appearance. I‘d definitely recommend this service and would book it the next time being in Amritsar.
It was amazing tour and awesome hospitality from Deol Travels . Entire trip was planned so well and well managed , we were able to cover most of the places in Amritsar including golden temple, jallialawala bagh, various eateries ,wagah border , sada pind and various shopping places . Jaggit paaji not only suggested all important places but also explained the significance of each place and helped us in shopping and visiting best eateries in Amritsar . If you wish to have a trustworthy travel in north India, do consider Deol travels . They don't knitpick on anything and are the best of the best .
