La catacombe de Kom El-Shoqafa. Les catacombes de Kom El Shoqafa signifiant « butte d'éclats ») est un site archéologique historique situé à Alexandrie, en Égypte, et est considéré comme l'une des sept merveilles du Moyen Âge.La nécropole est constituée d'une série de tombes alexandrines, de statues et d'objets archéologiques du culte funéraire pharaonique avec des influences hellénistiques et romaines impériales précoces

Le Théâtre romain est un ancien théâtre romain situé dans la région de Kom El-Dikka au centre de la ville d'Alexandrie en Égypte. C'est l'une des reliques de l'époque romaine et a été établie au début du IVe siècle après JC. Ce bâtiment a été découvert par hasard, alors qu'il enlevait la terre pour rechercher la tombe d'Alexandre le Grand par la mission polonaise en 1960. Les archéologues l'ont appelé le théâtre romain lorsque les marches en marbre ont été découvertes, mais une grande controverse est née sur la fonction de cet édifice archéologique. Il a fallu environ 30 ans pour le fouiller
la citadelle de Qaitbay est l'un des forts les plus importants de la côte de la mer Méditerranée. Le sultan mamelouk al-Ashraf Abu al-Nasr Qaitbay l’a construit entre 882 AH/ 1477 AD et 884/ 1479 AD sur les ruines du phare d’Alexandrie
La mosquée Abu al-Abbas al-Mursi est une mosquée égyptienne de la ville d'Alexandrie. La mosquée historique doit son nom au mystique Abu'l Abbas al-Mursi du XIIIe siècle, qui est également enterré au même endroit avec des membres de la famille Ashraf.

After the previous day, having visited the pyramids of Giza, our expectations placed in Alexandria were high and with our guide Mariam, with an excellent Spanish, objectively we have exceeded them, visiting the Catacombs, the Roman amphitheater and finally the citadel, additional to the charm of each of these points and the cultural tour in which Mariam has answered each of our questions that have not been few, we have culminated with an excellent lunch in front of the Mediterranean. 100% recommended, we enjoyed it to the fullest. !

Well worth the trip to Alexandria, it's beautiful! There's so much to see too including the library of alexandria, the jewellery museum, national museum and catacombs. You have some extraordinary views of the sea, the colours are incredible!

to Alexandria from Cairo was wonderful. I learned a lot about the Greek and Roman history of Egypt while exploring places like the catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa and the Roman Amphitheater. In addition, the views of the Mediterranean Sea were spectacular, and lunch at a seafront restaurant was the perfect way to end the day. Highly recommended for history and natural beauty lovers
