Cette visite historique vous fera découvrir l'histoire, le patrimoine et la beauté d'Antigua. Une visite à Betty's Hope est un must. Une ancienne plantation de sucre qui a joué un rôle important dans l'histoire de 300 ans d'Antigua-et-Barbuda. Vous explorerez également le phénomène naturel du pont du diable, un pont naturel ou une arche créée par les vagues de l'Atlantique qui se sont écrasées sur la côte est. Traversez des villages pittoresques en vous rendant au centre d'interprétation pour découvrir la culture et le patrimoine d'Antigua. Découvrez les ruines du poste de garde anglais du XVIIIe siècle, Shirley Heights, qui offre des vues spectaculaires sur English Harbour et les îles voisines. Traversez la zone tropicale luxuriante pour avoir une vue de première main de l'ananas noir d'Antigua, le plus doux du monde. Des échantillons d'ananas et de mangue (de saison), ainsi qu'un punch au rhum ou un punch aux fruits sont proposés.

Devil's Bridge, avec son histoire envoûtante, est à couper le souffle. Ce pont a été formé en raison des vagues de l'Atlantique qui se sont constamment écrasées dans les roches calcaires, ce qui a créé une arche naturelle remplie de geysers et de soufflures au fil du temps. Alors que les vagues continuent de se briser contre ces mêmes roches calcaires côtières, cela a créé un phénomène naturel étonnant. Cet arrêt promet d'être une expérience unique et émouvante. La formation calcaire peut être vraiment glissante à cause des vagues, et il n'est pas conseillé de marcher au sommet de l'arche.
Ce site offre une vue spectaculaire sur English Harbor. Par temps clair, vous pouvez voir certaines des îles voisines de ce point de vue.

Our guide Michael was great and we had such a good day! Nelson’s dock yard is for only 20 mins you can easily spend hours there so be aware!

Tour with Leslie was great. He was knowledgeable and efficient. Easy to find at port. We had three stops that were great and got to eat “purple pineapple”. Shirley’s Heights was our favorite stop. Tour was not customized or personalized but still a great day. Antigua has the prettiest beaches and water!

We were surprised and delighted to find out that our trip was just the two of us with our driver/guide Michael. He was really knowledgeable about the island and very easy to talk to. He took us to all the planned places and we had long enough at each one to get a feel for it. He had drinks for us on the journey and a large tub of pineapple to eat which was a real treat and very welcome. We absolutely loved Antigua and hope to return one day. Great trip and beautiful island.
