Notre chauffeur vous attendra dans le hall de votre hôtel et procédera à la visite. Le temple Wat Chayamangkalaram est un temple thaïlandais situé à Penang, célèbre pour son grand Bouddha couché plaqué or, qui mesure 33 m et est l'un des plus grands au monde.
Le temple birman Dhammikarama est un temple bouddhiste de style birman, fondé en 1803, avec des stupas et des sculptures élaborées et colorées. Dans la grande salle de prière, les voix sont réduites à un murmure et le silence n’est brisé que par le son des cloches du temple. Le dernier ajout au temple bouddhiste Dhammikarama est le clocher de la pagode d'or.

La mosquée Kapitan Keling est conçue selon un curieux mélange de styles, associant une architecture coloniale à des arches mauresques traditionnelles. Son intérieur présente un fantastique lustre en cristal et des panneaux de calligraphie. Construit par les musulmans indiens principalement à la tête de la communauté musulmane indienne, Kapten Caudeer nomme la mosquée après lui-même et Keling, qui est à l'origine de son lieu de naissance.
Le temple Yap, qui est le temple de clan du Lum Yeong Tong Yap Kongsi, situé à côté. Le temple du clan est situé au coin des rues Armenian et Cannon, dans la zone centrale du site classé au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO de George Town.
La rue commence à partir de l’église St. George gérée par les Anglicans, construite par la Compagnie britannique des Indes orientales en 1819. C’est le bâtiment le plus ancien de Penang. Construit avec une architecture grecque, l'intérieur se compose d'un bleu pastel frais avec des sols en marbre et à l'extérieur du bâtiment principal sur le terrain de l'église se trouve un mémorial à Sir Francis Light sous la forme d'un temple grec.

Really good tour, our guides took us around Penang and explained the history of the island with lots of information we wouldn’t have been able to catch without him. We also visited lots of historical sites and then went to The Top, the highest point in Penang.

I cannot praise this highly enough.. from the very start (message confirming pick-up sent to me in good time) the car was comfortable and spotlessly clean. My host driver has been guiding for over twenty years and knows EVERYTHING there is to know about Penang, it’s culture, it’s history. I had a recent operation and at present have a cane nd I was taken great care of throughout the trip. Parking close to everything, assistance in exiting cr and dealing with any steps.. It was all done with such charm and friendliness and PROFESSIONALISM. I give this trip the highest “mark” I’ve ever given after decades of trip Reviews.

Yes I does say in the description that if they can’t get tickets for Petronas they will get KL tower tickets. But they should have a note that if you are doing “ Reserve and pay later” that they won’t buy the tickets until the day before the event. The reason I purchased this specific tour is because the Petronas towers tickets were included. Also the Batu caves. The tour is pretty expensive but we did not see the Batu caves because of an Hindu holiday and we did not go up the observation deck for Petronas tower. When we got on the car I asked the driver if he got the tickets for the Petronas tower and he said yes. I said wonderful ! I told him that since we were not going to Batu caves that we wanted to go to KL tower but we will pay for them. He stopped in a store and bought KL tower tickets. When we got to Petronas Tower he said: there is the entrance. We asked him: ok but we need the tickets. Then he said: oh no we called yesterday and the tickets were sold out so you got KL tower tickets. I was so upset!! The driver was almost mute he wil point to the next place and say the name tat is all. This was the worse Viator tour we have taken.
