Description
Ce voyage de pagaie offre un teaser rapide de la beauté pittoresque et des rapides faciles de Castle Valley! Nos excursions d'une demi-journée vous donnent environ 2 heures sur l'eau pour admirer la beauté incroyable de ce paradis en grès. Rendez-vous au bureau de Mild to Wild pour vous enregistrer et vous préparer pour la rivière! Vos guides vous feront monter un VFI (alias gilet de sauvetage) et monteront ensuite dans la navette pour un trajet panoramique de 40 minutes jusqu'à Castle Valley. Une fois sur place, nous aurons une orientation de sécurité et quelques instructions de pagaie avant que vous ne partiez avec la flotte pour les prochaines heures. Les excursions en kayak flottent avec les excursions en rafting, et les guides vous donneront des instructions pendant que vous pagayez. Les kayaks se déplacent beaucoup plus vite que les radeaux, donc à l'occasion, vous devrez peut-être les attendre. Plus de temps pour admirer le paysage, disons-nous ! Il s'agit d'un voyage en rafting très doux, avec une eau plate généralement calme avec quelques sections rapides saupoudrées en cours de route.

We had a fabulous time with our savior, Tom. Thanks to his river prowess he adapted our trip from kayaks to a raft due to high winds. We laughed all the way down the river as he enlightened us on the area and funny stories.

Great trip with Gavin down the Colorado. Perfect balance of rafting, fun and local knowledge. River was mainly flat with rippling rapids (Is and IIs). Swimming opportunities too. Loved every minute! Thank you!

My parents (late 60s), kids (8 and 11), husband and I had a great time with Gavin! Since it was the first time rafting for the kids we did the mildest ride and Gavin spiced it up a little as he saw the kids were ready for some rapids! He was very knowledgable and gave us great insight into the natural surroundings as well as recommendations and tips for other things to do around Moab. He also took some pics for us! Would highly recommend! It was a highlight of our trip!

The staff here is excellent. There were no hassles signing in, getting fitted for a PFD or traveling to the launch site. Devin, Amy and Ashley gave us an explanation of what we were seeing. It was a short wait before we embarked down the River. I followed Devin’s raft in a kayak. She pointed out a lot of the sights and a bald eagle. It was a great day.

Kayaking was OK. Too much wasted time in the large group of rafts! Met at 1:30, waited for everyone to get PFDs, etc. Safety talk and then bus ride. Didn't get onto the water until almost 3:30. Once we began, the kayaks had to stay with the rafts and wait while they had water fights and were swimming. It was a windy day and we couldn't just stop paddling-- we'd float backwards, so we had to paddle, but not go ahead of the rafts. We didn't get back to our car until almost 6. It would save time if they sent the guides beforehand (and afterwards) with the rafts/kayaks and we didn't have to wait 20-30 minutes before and after the trip for them to unload/load. The kayaking was fine, not much whitewater. Our guide, Annie was great!
We loved Irving! The experience was wonderful. From arriving there to getting back and taking the bus back. We had a great time.
