Excursion d'une demi-journée avec les dauphins et la plongée en apnée sur l'île de Mnemba à Zanzibar

We did see dolphins in the wild, but it was nothing short of a hunt for the poor animals. Because it was the off-season, there were "only" 10 boats that had surrounded the animals. We were told that during the peak season, there are 50 boats that are with the animals. I can hardly imagine that. No thanks, that's not for us. If we had known that beforehand, we certainly would not have done it.

I contacted Shishi in the morning regarding a Stone Town tour. Within 2 hours he collect us ant the hotel and drove us to Stone Town where Ali the Stone Town Tour-Guide was waiting. Ali explained the history of Stone Town and we went to a local market where we bought different spices. In the afternoon Shishi drives us back to the hotel. Thanks Shishi

We booked a half day snorkelling and dolphin trip with Chichi after meeting on the beach by our hotel. The service was professional and Chichi was very knowledgeable about the best time to see the dolphins, he was also flexible as we tried to avoid some bad weather. Chichi joined us for the snorkelling to make sure we saw everything and he helped me to enjoy the experience as somebody who doesn’t love the sea! The freshly cut fruit was lovely too!

I contacted Chichi in the morning and within an hour he was at our hotel to collect us. We had the opportunity to snorkel in beautiful clear water, swim with the dolphins, touch starfish, and stop to enjoy freshly cut fruit at Mnemba island. We were 2 adults and 2 children (8 and 11), and we all enjoyed ourselves. Duration of trip was about 4 hours

We swam with dolphin!!! Of note, the tour states 4hrs, but they will go over to ensure you get a chance to swim with dolphin - which we did! Just make sure you have the time as they may go up to 6hrs while looking for dolphin, then they’ll ride over so you can jump out of the boat and swim with them! It’s really amazing. The atoll at Mnemba island is gorgeous and the water is amazing. We often do snorkeling trips on vacation and there were loads of fish, many of which we hadn’t gotten to see before. The crew were lovely and the fruit was cut fresh while on the boat. They arranged travel for us(for a reasonable extra cost), which was helpful as they depart out of Nungwi beach on the northern tip of the island.

No dolphin because high tide and no swimming on the lagoon of Mnemba. Very nice staff but little invested. Too bad we weren’t offered to go in the morning

Ask for Chi-Chi, he is a good guy. U can negotiate with him but his prices are fair and he is a really nice guy. It was a nice trip, they waited for us on the sandbank and always nice and polite.

Great guy, very friendly and made a fun boat trip with snorkeling and beach stay. We saw a lot of fish and dolphins and could swim with them. Afterwards we went to a area with turtles which was also great
