The Rock, un restaurant de renommée mondiale, connu non seulement pour son emplacement extraordinaire, mais aussi pour sa fabuleuse cuisine inspirée par les ressources naturelles, un zeste de Zanzibar et l’amour italien. The Rock, situé au sud-est, sur la péninsule de Michamvi Pingwe. Le Blue Lagoon se trouve juste au large de la péninsule de Michamvi. Le snorkeling dépend de la marée, il faut donc toujours la vérifier. La marée basse est généralement meilleure pour la visibilité et avec l’eau est plus calme, ce qui permet une meilleure observation sous-marine des coraux et des poissons, et la nage est plus agréable. Les eaux bleu turquoise invitent les passionnés d’aquariophilie à explorer les poissons tropicaux et les récifs ! Mêlez-vous aux poissons tropicaux, il y a une abondance de petits poissons tropicaux colorés : poisson perroquet, poisson-lion, poisson-zèbre, poisson-gâchette, poisson-chèvre, poisson-cornet, anguille, poisson-écureuil, poisson-chirurgien, calicagère bleue, poisson-coffre jaune, poisson-papillon et beaucoup plus.

So much advertising we were negative from the beginning. Nevertheless, we booked dinner 2 months before our arrival, in the exterior of the restaurant. Enchanting access, perfect food for Zanzibar, incredible atmosphere!
The rock restaurant. We wold highly recommend pay a visit to the rock during your stay in zanzibar. We had an amazing lunch there with a unique combination of brilliant local and high quality food
A dream!! A spectacular place, the dishes were exquisite, quality ingredients, fresh fish, all prepared with care! I found the low tide but all around it was a wonderful picture!! I think it is one of the most spectacular and special places I have ever seen!
We were really looking forward to the experience of eating at the Rock. We were really disappointed - overrated tourist trap!!! Struggled to enter the restaurant due to tourists - who were not diners - wanting to take photos on the steps/entrance of the restaurant. We felt we were herded in and out of the restaurant, they have 5 sittings a day !!!!! - two hours apart:( A great money making scheme from a business point of view - but certainly not a personal culinary or Special experience from A diners point of view. I ordered Seafood pappardelle - not a prawn to be seen!!! The waitress informed me that it was actually fish sauce not seafood - disappointed to say the least - awful, could have cooked better myself :(
Disappointed or number of boats docked that prevents swimming under risk of bathing in an ocean of gasoline. Memories are very expensive on the island. They see in us a blue card on legs. A tip, choose the side of Zanzibar where the beach is beautiful and makes you want to swim.
A beautiful evening with very good food and great, friendly service. The location is simply spectacular! We will never forget this evening!
We booked a half day tour with this company a month in advance. At 6:30pm the night prior they cancelled the tour with no explanation. They did refund our money. Do not recommend as unreliable.
