C'est le meilleur jour pour échapper à l'agitation de la ville. Profitez d'une prise en charge gratuite à l'hôtel tôt le matin ou en milieu de journée en fonction de l'heure à laquelle vous souhaitez commencer votre visite. Après une brève introduction, profitez d'une balade en landcruiser 4 * 4 pendant environ 40 minutes et entrez dans ce célèbre parc national. Le parc est à quelques kilomètres au nord-est d'Arusha, bien que la porte principale se trouve à 25 km à l'est de la ville et à 35 km de l'aéroport international du Kilimandjaro (KIA). Le parc national d'Arusha possède une riche variété d'animaux sauvages. Malgré la petite taille du parc, les animaux communs incluent la girafe, le buffle du Cap, le zèbre, le phacochère, le singe noir et blanc Columbus, le singe bleu, le flamant rose, l'éléphant, le lion et de nombreux autres animaux africains. Des populations de léopards sont présentes, mais rarement vues. La vie des oiseaux dans la forêt est prolifique, avec de nombreuses espèces forestières plus facilement visibles ici qu'ailleurs sur la route touristique - Narina trogon et bar-tailed trogon sont tous deux des points forts possibles pour les ornithologues amateurs, tandis que la gamme des espèces d'étourneaux offre un intérêt un peu moins criard. Après 4 heures de visite guidée professionnelle et après avoir observé autant d'animaux sauvages que possible, il est temps de quitter le parc pour la ville ou l'aéroport d'Arusha.

The tour said "hotel or airport pickup" and I applied because there was Kilimanjaro International Airport on the list of pickup locations, but Kilimanjaro International Airport paid $80 in cash because it required an additional fee. Also, when I got the appointment time of 7am, they didn't pick me up, and when I contacted them, they said they hadn't heard from Vaitor, so they picked me up more than 40 minutes late.
Wonderful experience, Shiraz was so friendly and knowledgeablw, looked after us so well , was a great spotter and guide. Fabulous 👌
We had an extra day in Arusha before starting our Kilimanjaro hike, and this was the perfect half day excursion to get us out of the hotel without being too strenuous given the jet lag. Ben and Linus picked us up from our hotel to take us to the park. Ben left to arrange park payment fees and Linus drove us up to the park and gave us our tour. We saw baboons, blue monkeys, colobus monkeys, giraffes, zebras, Cape buffalo, warthogs, flamingos, and much more. We had a great time with our knowledgeable guide.
The trip was offered in German, which was also a booking criterion for us. But all in English. No information that the pick-up time is moving from 7.00 am to 1.00 pm
In the park there are mainly giraffes, zebras and warthogs. There are many flamingos and other waterfowl at the lake. Since there is a lot of woodland and otherwise often very dense bushes, animals were not as well observed here as in more open terrain. If you already have safari experience, you probably won't see any new highlights here. Although there are certainly elephants and also leopards. So that's what you should be prepared for. But it is a nice and varied tour. For the safari novice this is a great way to get started before heading to Tarangire and Ngorongoro

This was the best way to spend our free day in Arusha . We booked this early morning tour and our guide was prompt in picking us from our hotel. The vegetation is awesome and the sparsely populated monkeys jumping from tree to tree. Though not many animals, but everything was great
