Notre premier arrêt sera à la grande mosquée Sheikh Zayed, l'une des plus grandes et des plus belles mosquées du monde; capable d'accueillir un nombre impressionnant de plus de 30 000 fidèles. La structure blanche exquise est complètement revêtue de marbre, mettant en valeur l'art et les sculptures islamiques complexes, ainsi que de vastes aménagements paysagers.
Arrêt photo: Le centre commercial Yas est la destination ultime de la capitale pour faire du shopping, manger et se divertir en plein cœur de l'île de Yas.
Les dates font partie de la culture aux Emirats Arabes Unis. Comme la date est l’un des rares fruits que l’on puisse planter dans la région, elle est devenue une composante majeure de l’alimentation. La variété des types de date peut rendre le plaisir de goûter avant de choisir le type à acheter.
Visitez le village du patrimoine pour découvrir les aspects traditionnels du mode de vie du désert et plongez dans une capsule témoin qui donne vie à un souk, à une mosquée et à un campement d'Abou Dhabi, déjà modernisé. Vous pouvez magasiner, explorer des artefacts et regarder des artisans fabriquer de la poterie, du soufflage de verre et du tissage de tissus sur un métier à tisser. Après cela, nous nous arrêtons à la galerie d'art islamique pendant 20 minutes.

- La mosquée Sheikh Zayed à Abou Dhabi est ouverte aux visiteurs de 8h30 à 11h30 du dimanche au jeudi.
- Les dames visitant la mosquée doivent se couvrir la tête avec un foulard et ne pas porter de shorts, de vêtements de plage ou de vêtements sans manches car elles doivent être entièrement couvertes.
- Les hommes visitant la mosquée doivent porter un pantalon long
- La fondation culturelle et le palais Al Husn sont fermés pour rénovation à Abou Dhabi. Ils ne sont donc pas intégrés à l'itinéraire de la visite d'Abou Dhabi.
- Les heures d’ouverture du Heritage Village à Abu Dhabi sont les suivantes: du lundi au jeudi et le samedi, de 9h00 à 13h00 et de 17h00 à 21h00. Vendredi de 17h00 à 21h00.

We had a great day with our driver Umair Shah. He explained everything in detail to us about the individual sights. Also the time we visited the mosque etc. was still quite empty of crowds. All in all, we can highly recommend Umair Shah to spend a great stopover day in Abu Dhabi.

Good summary of Abu Dhabi. Guide M. Dubais gave good explanations about life, culture and economy of Abu Dhabi. Instructive. All a bit far apart though.
