Commencez à faire du vélo vers le centre-ville le long des pistes cyclables qui bordent le parc métropolitain de Santiago.
La première visite vous mènera à la zone bohème et culturelle Bellavista
Nous nous arrêterons pour explorer la maison du poète national Pablo Neruda (La Chascona- vue de l'extérieur) et entendre parler de sa vie.
Continuez ensuite à vélo dans les rues animées en admirant les peintures murales colorées jusqu'à Patronato et Tirso de Molina; un marché populaire de fruits et légumes où vous pourrez apprécier les fruits et légumes chiliens et goûter aux jus de fruits naturels frais locaux.
Visite au principal marché aux poissons de la ville Mercado Central
Nous reprendrons le vélo et continuerons notre route en direction de la place principale: Plaza de Armas
Sur la Plaza de Armas, nous aurons l'occasion de visiter la principale cathédrale de la ville: la cathédrale métropolitaine.

Vélo suivant le centre commercial de la ville avant de vous rendre au palais présidentiel: La Moneda cache des histoires pendant les années du coup militaire au Chili
Nous nous arrêterons sur la place de la Constitution devant le palais de la Moneda pour apprécier la vue et entendre parler de la situation politique chilienne.

Continuez la balade à vélo vers le Museo Bellas Artes; Musée des Beaux-Arts, vous aurez une chance pour une brève visite
Ensuite, nous ferons du vélo dans la rue Lastarria, offrant une agréable atmosphère d’art, de culture et de vie nocturne.

Nous commencerons notre route vers le point de rendez-vous le long des principaux parcs du district de Providencia.

Very interesting tour - Chile has a fascinating (and bloody!) history! Claudio told the stories in a way that was easy to understand and I enjoyed his book of visual aids! We also appreciated the food explanations and recommendations at the end.
Claudio was great! We visited on a Sunday when many of the main roads were closed to car traffic so it was all bicycles, walkers, runners and rollerbladers!
We had an amazing private bike tour around historic Santiago with Tomas, and it was truly the highlight of our trip. He was incredibly professional, kind, and informative, making every stop feel meaningful. Our favorite part was visiting the fish market, where Tomas shared local insights. We covered so much ground without ever feeling rushed, and it gave us a whole new appreciation for the city. Highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting a fun, engaging, and memorable way to explore Santiago.
Good ride and interesting history in Santiago. Moderate endurance needed as the ride is slight incline back to start. Tomas spoke excellent English and was patient with us oldies 😂
We had a lovely bike ride this morning with a great guide, excellent bikies and perfect weather. Our guide Augustin was wonderful, so a special thank you for him. We really enjoyed his insights about his city, and his knowledge of the architecture and the history were such a bonus. Balthazar was very informative and took us through many interesting neighborhoods. He pointed out good places to eat and showed us where all the museums were. A very enjoyable bike ride which I recommend.
