This is more of a glorified taxi ride! The van/bus is nice however if you have your own transportation save yourself A LOT of money. The lower antelope canyon costs $80.50 per person for the same tour this excursion offers and horseshoe bend is just one admission fee per car at roughly $15. The driver is not a tour guide and does NOT stay with you the entire time. The only guide is the one included at lower antelope canyon included with your admission. Horseshoe Bend is completely self guided. Do yourself a favor and price compare doing this without the driver if you can. Our family of 4 would have saved over $500.
My 9yr old says it was a 10 out of 10 experience! The photo opportunities were out of this world. Our party was 4 kids ranging from 8 to 12, and they loved it all! The lower part has some steep steps, which I’d not considered. My cousin was fearful of heights, so it was a challenge getting her down, but she was thrilled she got there
While our driver was nice, in the end, this turned out to be just a roughly $500, 15 minute Uber ride. This wasn’t a tour with somebody. This was just somebody that drove us 15 minutes away to two locations that were right next to our hotel. We did everything on our own or with the existing antelope tour which would have only been $90 instead of $500. Again, very nice guy, but not at all what we expected and sorry to say really felt robbed at the end of it all.
The marketing far exceeds reality. For As much as this cost the limousine should be a limousine instead of an old packer van with little or no air conditioning and warm water. When the driver says meet him in the parking lot at a certain time he should be there. Anyone can drive to Horseshoe Canyon so there is no monopoly to take you there. The long walk down from the parking lot in the heat was somewhat a challenge for this old guy. The long walk UP the hill was a drudgery. The only upside is Antelope Canyon. The tour companies MUST vet guests so …. The canyon itself is a must see. The personnel there are VERY knowledgeable, professional and friendly. GO THERE.
Fantastic trip,I can not say enough about the trip and our driver/tg. Very knowledgeable, great personality. 5 stars
Overall, I enjoyed the tour. The tour guide was very nice and good to talk to. The experience was fun and the views were fantastic and beautiful. I got a lot of great pictures. I would come back again
It was a great trip we had. The service we received from this tour was very nice and detailed. Would recommend my other family members to join this tour. Thanks
