This is an awesome tour. I appreciate that it was a small group and the tour guides answered all my questions. The ladies really know their stuff! The venue choices were all so different and offered various perspectives on tea.
Thank you so much for your presence and for taking the time to right a review. I'm really glad you enjoyed it. :) Until next time!
The tour was awesome. It mixes tea information with Montreal history information. We discovered new interesting places even though we're from near Montreal. We tasted a lot of different teas from around the globe. The Japenese boutique/tasting at the end of tour was the highlight for us. But most importantly Melissa and Shanti were great tour guides! Definitely recommend it for tea lovers and we'll certainly try other tours in the near future.
Thank you so much for coming out and for writing the review. I really appreciate it. Alot of care has gone into that tour. It's very niche, but a great experience and we want people to know! Thank you again. I hope to see you on other tours!
Very informative tour incorporating the history of Montreal's varied areas and the history of tea. The tastings were delicious and highlighted the complexity of tea and some delicious food. We particularly loved the noodles! Melissa did a great job and we appreciated the walk along the less traveled, green streets and alleys observing lots of murals and street art.
Thanks so much Sara. Your presence on the tour was appreciated! It was a lovely day! Take care!
I took my dad with me on this amazing tour and we had such a great time! We both learned so much and were very happy that we went. Our guide was lovely and very knowledgeable.
Thank you!! I appreciate it!! The tea tour is very unique and it is really an incursion into a world!!
Utterly delightful experience. Highly recommend. Melissa was very knowledgeable, energetic and pleasing guide. Would recommend to anyone who is visiting Montreal and wants a unique and interesting tour slightly off the beaten path.
Thanks so much Julie! I really appreciate it. This is a very niche tour. Your review means alot!
I enjoyed tasting various teas and learning about the history of tea, and how it is made. Also learned about Montreal and saw some of the city
Thanks for the review Amanda. I’m so glad you could both join us. Your presence, humour and curiosity was very welcome!
We had a fantastic time on this tour. It was appropriate both for those who knew a lot about tea already and those who didn't. She was accommodating to my mom's special needs (mobility impaired). I thought I knew about Japanese tea, but have never experienced anything like the tea service we went to. Highly recommended.
Thank you so much for the review Kate! Much appreciated! It was a really nice afternoon despite the curve balls!
If I could, I'll give more than 5 stars! This tour was a gift for my best friend's Birthday and it was absolutely outstanding and way beyond anything I had expected! Melissa is an amazing guide and helped us discover many new locations which we would for sure enjoy many more times in the future. All the places we have visited were extraordinary and we really enjoyed learning about the story behind each location (even met with the owners). Melissa also taught us about Montreal's history in-between the locations we were visiting and the whole tour felt like a little adventure as we walked through areas we've never been before (we are from Montreal too). The communication was super fast and the customer service was extremely good. We now plan on experiencing all of the remaining tours as Melissa's company was highly enjoyable and we can't wait to learn more about our city. Thank you!
Thank you Ralitsa! I was nervous and excited because this was the first one since the pandemic and totally revamped. It was very smooth in the end and all places were top-notch. I’m glad I could have you as guests and spend a lovely afternoon with you. It was the perfect day! I hope to see you on more tours! Take care!
Soooooo good! Melissa was very kind and we are so glad to have had this experience! We were a group of 7 and everyone seemed to have a very good tour. Thank you again.
My pleasure!!!
This is my second tour with Melissa of Round Table Tours and I hope to go on many more! She is an outstanding guide, with a great ability to create an engaging srory about a particular food and draw us in to the narrative. Her tea tour is amazing. My family group ranged from my young adult nephew and his girlfriend to my 85 year old mother with dementia and every one of us had a fabulous time. Melissa went out of her way to get answers to questions and make sure everyone enjoyed themselves. I will absolutely be booking another tour with Melissa the next time I'm in Montreal.
Thank you so much Lisa! It is a treat having you and Edith and co every time! I hope to have you back many more times. You are by far one of the guests that eats up the content and has a deep appreciation of the people we meet along the tour and all that we taste and for the geeky info too! :) It was gratifying to do such contrasting tours for you and have you enjoy both. I look forward to next time and I promise that it will be wildly different from the first two! All the best until then!
