Cette visite privée d'une demi-journée vous emmène de Katmandou à Nagarkot, une station de colline pittoresque située à environ 1 heure de route de la ville. Connu pour son atmosphère paisible et ses vues imprenables sur l'Himalaya, Nagarkot est l'un des meilleurs endroits près de Katmandou pour profiter du lever ou du coucher du soleil sur les montagnes. Par temps clair, vous pourrez profiter d'une vue panoramique sur la chaîne himalayenne, y compris Annapurna, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Jugal, Rolwaling, Numbur et même le mont Everest au loin. Après avoir profité de la vue, vous visiterez également le Rani Jhula, un magnifique pont suspendu offrant une vue panoramique sur les collines environnantes et la vallée de la rivière, parfait pour une courte promenade et des photos. Cette expérience est idéale pour la détente, l'air frais et une évasion rapide de la ville animée. Itinéraire
La visite commence par un ramassage l'après-midi à votre hôtel à Katmandou. La route menant à Nagarkot est particulièrement pittoresque le long de l’autoroute Arniko, en passant par de petites rivières, des villes et des terres agricoles. À mesure que vous vous approcherez de Nagarkot, vous conduirez en montée dans des virages serrés et des forêts verdoyantes. Le trajet dure environ 1,5 heure. En arrivant à Nagarkot, dirigez-vous vers la tour d'observation située à environ 65 marches du parking d'où vous pourrez admirer un panorama majestueux des plus hautes montagnes du monde. Observez le soleil couchant qui se cache lentement derrière les montagnes, peignant tous les Himalayas en brun doré. Nagarkot est abondante avec des forêts profondes, de petites prairies et du vent frais soufflant directement de l'Himalaya. Après avoir profité de la vue, retournez à Katmandou pour être ramené à votre hôtel.

We had a wonderful, short and not verry intense hike with nice views and an intresting walk over a suspension bridge. In the end there was a nice temple to visit. Our friendly and competent guide was Shankar.

The trip to Nagarkot was an incredibly inspiring experience. Our guide Razz introduced us to the country’s culture and the philosophy of Buddhism in an engaging way and a well balanced amount of information - without being overwhelming. Because we had already visited Bharatpur a day before, Razz suggested an alternative route so we got a chance to see and try a suspension bridge instead. The visability at Nagarkot was not the best at sunset time that day, we were told it could be better at sunrise. But of course it depends on the weather, not the tour operator.

We had Subash as our guide, with Ravi driving. Pre-trip communication was good, they arrived on time (which was great as the traffic in Kathmandu that morning has been horrific so we were expecting them to be late). The guided tour of Bhaktapur was excellent, really informative and done very much at our pace. They gave a good recommendation for a late lunch. Nargakot was nice but I think it’s probably better to do the sunrise tour as the visibility at sunset wasn’t the best in April. Very good tour, especially the Bhaktapur section, I’d recommend

Raz did a fantastic job guiding us to Nagarkot to see the sunrise which was beautiful. He also took us to see the ancient city of Bhaktapur and gave us a thorough history and religious meaning of each building and temple. Highlighly recommended to join this tour

5 out of 5, but realistically, Deepak deserves a 10. Not only was he nice and full of knowledge about the tour and Nepalese history and culture, but he was a wealth of knowledge in numerous subjects, including Greek mythology and animals. I was amazed by his knowledge in which it made 4 hours of walking enjoyable. Every time i asked a question, he knew the answers with great detail. The tour was absolutely beautiful from start to finish and the Himalayas are devine. I thoroughly enjoyed this last-minute choice of tour and will be recommending it to everyone back in Australia.
