Après la prise en charge à votre hôtel de Las Vegas, vous quitterez Las Vegas pour vous rendre à Boulder City, où se trouve le barrage Hoover. Reconnu comme l’un des plus grands exploits techniques au monde, le barrage Hoover est situé à 200 m au-dessus du puissant fleuve Colorado, qui coule entre l’Arizona et le Nevada. Construit entre 1931 et 1936 pendant la Grande Dépression et s'étendant sur Black Canyon, le barrage de Hoover démontre un effort massif impliquant des milliers de travailleurs.
Vous vous arrêterez d'abord sur le pont de la voie de contournement pour prendre des photos. Lorsque vous vous promenez sur le barrage, du Nevada à l'Arizona, veillez à contempler une vue unique sur les murs du barrage. Vous ferez ensuite le tour intérieur du barrage (non privé) qui inclura un regard en profondeur sur le fonctionnement interne de cette magnifique structure.
Après votre visite de 40 minutes, arrêtez-vous pour une autre séance de photos au Lake Mead Overlook et admirez le plus grand réservoir des États-Unis.
Après votre expérience avec le barrage Hoover, votre guide vous emmènera dans un voyage historique à travers Las Vegas. Vous ferez une croisière sur le célèbre Strip de Las Vegas, vous arrêterez dans le centre-ville pour voir Fremont Street (le Las Vegas d'origine) et prendrez des photos au panneau «Welcome to Las Vegas»! This tour was outstanding and exceeded our expectations. Our tour guide, Joel, was personable and very informative. He clearly enjoys what he does and it shows through his efforts to make the tour as enjoyable as possible for the customers. The drive back and forth to the dam was extremely pleasant and educational (the new van was roomy and comfortable). We had plenty of time for the tour of the dam (which is also great) and exploring the surrounding sites. Finally, the tour of Vegas (driving the Strip and walking Fremont Street) provided a ton of history I did not know despite visiting Vegas regularly for over 30 years. Joel went above and beyond by walking with us up and down Fremont Street, giving us interesting (and often funny) insights into the city's history. Thank you for an enjoyable, memorable experience!

We had a great time visiting the Hoover Dam and Las Vegas. The company was so easy to work with and reached out ahead of time to confirm pick up and provided us with contact information for our driver. Paul, our driver and tour guide, was amazing and very knowledgeable! He made the tour more enjoyable for our 14-year-old twins. He was very accommodating and even made a stop at In-N-Out for my son, who wanted to try the burgers.

We loved this tour. It hit all the highlights of the Hoover Dam and Vegas strip/ Fremont St. Our guide Joel Clark was a fountain of knowledge of both the Hoover Dam and Vegas in general! Time and money well spent!! Highly recommend both the tour and Joel!

If you are doing this tour, request for Paul. He is knowledgeable and very engaging. Not only that, he is also very flexible and willing to modify our tour based on our requests (not outrageous). This tour is perfect if you’re traveling with a teenager and / or young adult. I recommend this tour!!!

We signed up for a private tour of Hoover Dam. Our host was Craig, and he was fantastic. Very knowledgeable, funny, and fun. We also got a bonus of seeing Bighorn Sheep. A very enjoyable day - highly recommended.
