Description
Vivez une expérience unique avec notre excursion matinale sur l'Etna. Notre guide viendra vous chercher à l'endroit convenu. La première étape consistera en la visite d'une grotte de lave, avec casques et torches, suivie d'une pause de 10 minutes dans un bar. Nous poursuivrons par une randonnée légère d'environ 2 heures à une altitude de 2000 mètres dans la zone des cratères Silvestri, sur le versant sud du volcan. Vous emprunterez un sentier caractérisé par d'anciennes coulées de lave, d'anciens cratères et des paysages à couper le souffle. La visite se terminera par une dégustation de produits typiquement siciliens et un déjeuner léger, où vous pourrez savourer les saveurs et les traditions gastronomiques et viticoles de notre région. Un véritable moment de plaisir et de détente avant de retourner à Catane.

A great morning walking Etna! Our guide, Giuseppe, was so knowledgeable and provided excellent dual-language information through the tour. It would have been good to have spent a bit longer exploring the mountainside but unfortunately we got caught in a big downpour of rain and had to retreat to a restaurant in the tourist area which cut our walk a bit shorter than we’d have liked. I would definitely recommend though - solid hiking or walking shoes/trainers with good grip are a must, and a rain jacket too (for sure!).

Giovanni accompanied us on this fantastic experience with our children aged 9 and 4... he was very professional, punctual, and extremely well-prepared! Patient with our pace.... We were also very lucky because the volcano was active, so we could hear its voice, see the column of smoke, and feel the rain of ash on us! Everything was perfect! Highly recommended

We left Catania around 8am and was back right on schedule at 2pm. Francesco was our guide and he was very good. Started at a stop where he outlined Enta and the various major craters and how volancos are made. Was very interesting and was an amazing view. We spent about 2hrs hiking around and seeing lava flows from early 2000 as well as up a crater to get a great view. Would recommend this tour - be ready to hike and bring some water.
