Vaut le détour si vous êtes intéressé par un art unique dans des paysages inhabituels, l'installation du sculpteur Richard Serra dans la réserve naturelle de Brouq comprend quatre plaques d'acier de plus de 14 m de haut chacune, réparties sur un kilomètre du désert désolé de l'ouest du Qatar. Vous pouvez même apercevoir une autruche ou une gazelle dans la réserve désertique environnante. Le trajet d'une heure et demie à l'ouest de Doha comprend un peu de tout-terrain. Richard Serra a créé un nouvel art permanent du fer plat d'environ 15 mètres de haut a été dévoilé dans le désert du Qatar. L'artiste de Richard Serra, créé pour le Qatar par le célèbre artiste américain Richard Serra, s'appelle "East-West / West-East" et est situé à environ 60 km à l'extérieur de Doha dans la réserve naturelle de Brouq près de Zekreet. L'immense envergure plate à 1 km de la zone, et "est situé dans un couloir naturel façonné par des plateaux de gypse,"
Zekreet fort Qatar Le paysage de la péninsule de Zekreet a une géologie unique et fascinante. Les salines, les rochers et le plateau désertique ouvert dominent ce paysage. Il n'y a pas de dunes de sable ici, des formations rocheuses étranges et de superbes vues sur les eaux bleues du golfe. L'escarpement calcaire de Bir-Zekreet est un désert blanchâtre, le vent a des rochers séduisants, révélant des piliers, de gros champignons calcaires et des formes étranges qui se projettent des falaises. La plage est située au coeur de la ville et est proche de la plage. Les rochers de la plage aux courbes naturelles nous donnent un concept de sculpture méticuleuse réalisée par un grand artiste. Muhammad was an outstanding guide for the East–West / West–East tour. We visited the mushroom rocks, film city and many more.
