Description

Tatianna is the BEST

We absolutely loved spending time touring with Tatianna. She took us to the most interesting places in Madrid and had all the history and culture to share. So much information I found myself taking photos of spots so we could go back later in our stay in Madrid. In fact, we did return to the 100 yo espadrille store and in best calamari sandwich for 3 £ and more. Just fantastic I would highly recommend a walking tour with Tatianna!! Thank you. Sandy & Tom

We Love Titana!

We enjoyed her old town tour so much that we went back 3 days later for her Literary Quarter tour. Definitely a 5 star experience for a small price.

Miserable weather but great guide!

It was a cold & wet morning and I honestly didn't know how the walk will go, but Tatiana's energy and personality really shined through and made the event very pleasant. Thoroughly engaging, knowledgeable and friendly. Certainly one of the top tours I have had for a long time. Keep up the great work OgoTours!

The Best Way to Discover Madrid, 100% RECOMMENDED!!

We have many "free tours" in Europe and this one was the best. Me and my wife absolutely loved the tour conducted by Tatiana. The Free Walking Tour covered the Old Town and it was very interesting. Tatiana was helpful and very knowledgeable. After the tour she recommeded a lot of places to eat where feel the local atmosphere. We decided also to take the tour at 16:00 across the Literary Quarter and Paseo del Prado. It was very interesing also. We aboslutely recommend this company to enjoy Madrid.

Fantastic personalized tour for laypersons

Our tour was fantastic from start to finish. Tatiana (our tour guide) was waiting for us at 4 pm at the meeting spot (just like the instructions) and gave us tremendous insight of the literary figures of Madrid, amongst other historical narratives. My wife was a little under the weather, and Tatiana so super sweet and accommodating, going at a pace of our convenience and comfort, all the while acquainting us with the city. Since I was ignorant of Madris' own history, I couldn't help but ask Tatiana a lot of untimely questions about the history of Madrid. But Tatiana was super sweet and answered all the questions in precise and intriguing detail. Would recommend this trip to everyone who wants to gain unique perspective on the history of Madrid. Thanks Tatiana!

As good as it gets

I really enjoyed Tatiana's tours around the old city and Literary Quarter&Paseo del Prado. She shared basic historical facts as well as funny stories and tips on what to try and where to go next. I was the only guest that day who booked the second tour, so that one was beyond all expectations since I also got an overview of local habits and traditions as they are percieved by a person with similar background. The English is perfect (and so is Russian). Certainly would recommend!

Tatiana’s Grand Tour of Madrid - a real treat!

As well as showing us the main sights, including the changing of the guard at the Royal Palace and the Plaza Major, Tatiana gave us an insight into the real Madrid, taking us to the literary quarter and to beautiful bakeries and sweet shops, explaining that many had been established for hundreds of years. After a pit stop for a local liqueur, we were escorted to Casa Alberto, an ancient tapas bar which used to be the haunt of Bull fighters where we were treated to some delicious food and drink. Tatiana also arranged access to the oldest restaurant to view the original brick oven with suckling pigs and the ancient wine cellars. Upon her recommendation we subsequently dined there the following evening and enjoyed a memorable evening. My carnivorous friends devoured the suckling pig, whilst myself as the sole vegetarian enjoyed the most delicious gazpacho, bread to die for, followed by scrambled egg with asparagus (shame the vegetables were overcooked). Several monuments later, including the stunning town hall, the obelisk, and the triumph arch, we were finally elevated to to top of the Círculo de Bellas Artes , where we enjoyed a glorious view, a cocktail and a well earned rest. A fitting Grand finale to what was a perfect day. If you are used to the personal touch, like to feel you are being shown around by a friend and don’t want to be herded in a big group, book this tour you won’t be disappointed and we all felt it was excellent value for money.
