Lancez-vous dans une aventure à travers les paysages époustouflants de Madère, en commençant par le parc écologique de Funchal, entouré de verdure luxuriante et de terrains variés. Le sentier mène à Poço da Neve, offrant une vue unique sur le port de Funchal. Continuez le sentier PR3 Vereda do Burro jusqu'au majestueux Pico do Areeiro, le troisième plus haut sommet de l'île. De là, le sentier vous guide jusqu'au magnifique Miradouro do Ninho da Manta, où vous serez témoin de la beauté sauvage de Madère. Ensuite, dirigez-vous vers le point de vue de Pedra Rija, un autre arrêt à couper le souffle. Ensuite, attaquez-vous au difficile mais gratifiant « Stairway to Heaven », où l'ascension promet des vues impressionnantes. Après avoir conquis cette montée emblématique, retournez à Pico do Areeiro pour terminer votre randonnée. Cet itinéraire est parfait pour les randonneurs chevronnés et les amoureux de la nature, offrant certaines des vues les plus spectaculaires que Madère ait à offrir. Commencez votre aventure au Pico do Arieiro, à travers les terrains variés du parc écologique de Funchal, en vous immergeant dans une végétation riche et une faune endémique tout au long du chemin.
Faites un bref arrêt à Poço da Neve, un site historique autrefois utilisé pour la production de glace, offrant un aperçu unique du passé de Madère au milieu de la beauté naturelle.
Le troisième plus haut sommet de Madère, où des vues panoramiques à couper le souffle vous attendent dès le départ.
Là où les falaises escarpées offrent des vues impressionnantes sur la vallée, parfaites pour la réflexion et les photos
Faites une pause au Miradouro Pedra Rija pour une séance photo rapide avec en toile de fond le paysage spectaculaire et le ciel azur de Madère, après avoir passé « L'escalier vers le ciel »

Le ramassage est inclus pour les clients séjournant dans les hôtels désignés. Nous vous conseillons d'être prêt et d'attendre à la réception de l'hôtel 10 minutes avant l'heure de ramassage prévue. Nos guides attendront environ 5 minutes pour chaque client. Faites attention à nos fourgonnettes, qui peuvent être blanches (plus petites) ou grises (plus grandes). Nous nous efforçons de garantir un début d'aventure fluide et rapide, bien que des retards externes puissent survenir. Si cela se produit, vous en serez informé le jour même. Un jour avant l'activité, nous pouvons ajuster l'heure de ramassage pour votre convenance.

First, our host, Nadia greeted us warmly. Pickup was on time. She explained everything well on the drive up. She noted all of the best viewers and stopped at perfect moments (when we were exhausted) to give us great history of the area/island. It was a very tough hike at times (for me, 45 y/o male, average fitness). Lots of steep uphill climbs. Ultimately the payoff was at the end. You will be walking in the clouds.
We had an amazing time on this hike! It was a highlight of our trip. Our guide Daria and driver were knowledgeable and organised. Would definitely recommend this experience.

Not for casual walkers quite steep and good footwear needed as rocky in most places , bring protein snacks and water

Condition is advantageous :-) We were there in May, and it is advisable to bring a thick jacket, gloves, etc.

I award 5 stars because of Martha and the great information she told us. She was very punctual and professional during the hike. With 3 stars I would have rated the sky staircase, as very touristy. It is a pity that you can travel by car to the summit and the sky staircase to be climbed afterwards becomes very touristy. Notwithstanding everything.

I did not know that I could suffer from altitude sickness at Pico de Areeiro, but that is what happened to me :-( I am super sensitive, so I think most people who suffer from altitude sickness do not yet get it here. Unfortunately, I was feeling very dizzy and could not take the trip. I stayed at the café while others (my husband included) took the trip. My husband really enjoyed the trip. Martha was great at taking care of us.

For the most part a difficult hike but very rewarding. Ben prepared us well, and stopped regularly to allow us breaks at appropriate stops. Once you arrive at the stairway to heaven, we were able to return at our own pace. Overall, would highly recommend as an experience!
