Na was THE BEST! (and thank you to our driver, Ham, as well!)... she was truly delightful and made my day :) I wasn't intending on a private tour but, I suppose, with it being off season, that's how it shook down. The price seemed a bit steep for me after living in Thailand for almost 2 months now (teaching English in Ban Pong), much more comparable to prices back in the States - so I had a little sticker shock BUT it was the most magical day ever, totally worth the price. I was picked up in a super clean/AirCon'd van and Na entertained all my questions about the area and gave me so many interesting tidbits. We stopped at the damn before Erawan National Park, which was really cool and she has ALL the facts! She walked me up a couple of the falls and then let me go solo to the 7th - which is A MUST. Truly spectacular. We met back up at a certain time (change into your bathing suit in the very clean park bathrooms before ascending, you'll definitely want to get in the water!) and then drove to a really cute spot for lunch. It was HUGE so I assume very packed during peak season but we practically had the whole place to ourselves. The buffet was 250BHT and delightful...they even made me a special vegetarian soup :) Then we walked to the train station right across the street and Na knew the best seat on the train (7th car!) for the most spectacular view all along the river, mountain, and farmlands. She was extremely knowledgeable about the history from the war - on all sides and we had a very powerful conversation about this tragic yet important facet of world history. The train lets you off at the Bridge Over River Kwai and, yet again, Na is there with the fancy camera angles should you need any pictures/videos. She really is a great photographer as well! It's an early start time but worth it to have the entire waterfall to yourself on the way up. Na is so great, I can not recommend this tour enough! I stayed at the recommended Kanchanaburi City Hotel which was simple but great. They only have breakfast (yummy pancakes and flowers in the coffee!) so make sure to arrive in time to seek out your own dinner. A small but poignantly beautiful Japanese memorial is across the street, worth a gander. It is an easy walk to the area with all the bars and a quick Grab ride to the bus or train station. I also took an amazing Pilates class at Inspire Pilates, if that is of interest to anyone here :) Dinner on the river with live music, at sunset, was MAGNIFICENT...I loved the restaurant called Kaan (truffle pasta, yum)....overall 10/10 no notes weekend!
Your 5-star review is greatly appreciated! We're glad to know that we exceeded your expectations.
Jacky was very good tour guide. Waterfalls very beautiful and swimming in waterfalls very chill and nice cold. And also visit the war museum know about Thai war history.

Great experience an beautiful waterfalls. Highly recommended. Climbing up the 7 waterfalls needs some training as it extends for 2 km with multiple steps.

Jack was an amazing tour guidefriendly, knowledgeable, and very easy to talk to. He took us to the museum, the national park, and a beautiful waterfall. Each stop was well explained and enjoyable, but the waterfall experience was especially amazing and memorable. He made the whole day fun, relaxing, and informative. I highly recommend him.
Enjoyable day trip. Nice to get away from city and the waterfalls were beautiful. Guide Bonnie was very pleasant and nice to talk to.
Very dedicated guide, spectacular waterfalls - unfortunately too little time until the seventh stage (had to drop out at stage 5), interesting train ride.
We're so glad you enjoyed your experience and gave us a 5-star review. Thank you for your support!"
Amazing day in the Kanchanaburi nature and learning a bit of history with the guide Ohm Ekachai. Ohm has been great, super kind and took care of the team. He provided all the necessary information and I want to recommend this activity. Last but not least, the waterfalls trekking has been amazing and worth to visit and we saw monkeys and lizards. The driver Yoyo also has been really professional and drove safelly.
We're so glad you enjoyed your experience and gave us a 5-star review. Thank you for your support!"
Punctual pickup at the hotel. Expert tour guide and sympathetic driver. Level 7 at the waterfall was too exhausting for us and level 4 was over. Train ride like in the oven but great and worth seeing.
Thank you so much for your feedback! We’re glad to hear that you appreciated the punctual hotel pickup, knowledgeable guide, and friendly driver. It’s great that you enjoyed the train ride and the waterfall, even if Level 7 was a bit too challenging. We truly appreciate your kind words and hope to welcome you on another adventure soon!
Great experience, great guide. Pop was super friendly and it was a lot of fun - highly recommended! Make it absolutely necessary
