Voir le site où nous croyons que la femme la plus célèbre du monde a vécu à la fin de sa vie, après la visite de la maison de Marie, nous visiterons Éphèse. Détendez-vous dans la ville antique la plus préservée du monde. Visitez les ruines et arrêtez-vous dans des endroits tels que l'Odéon, la célèbre bibliothèque de Celsus, le Bouleterion, le temple d'Hadrien, l'Agora, le bain de Scholastica et le Grand Théâtre. Visitez le temple d'Artémis, l'une des sept merveilles du monde antique, et explorez le petit village de inceirince.Le transport depuis l'aéroport d'Izmir ou votre hôtel est assuré par nos bus climatisés. Aujourd'hui, les points forts seront la bibliothèque de Celsus, le temple d'Artémis et la dégustation de vins de fruits à inceirince.

Nous commençons notre service de prise en charge depuis n'importe quel hôtel de votre séjour à Izmir. Si vous huez votre Ephèse chez nous et que vous restez à Kusadasi, c'est le premier lieu de prise en charge qui partira à 07h30 et continuera jusqu'à Selcuk où il y aura une réunion avec d'autres participants. Après que tout le monde vienne ensemble, la visite commence par la Maison de la Vierge Marie. La Maison de la Vierge Marie est l'endroit où Marie a pu passer ses derniers jours. En effet, elle est peut-être venue dans la région avec Saint John. Cet endroit a été officiellement déclaré sanctuaire de l'Église catholique romaine en 1986 et est depuis lors devenu un lieu de pèlerinage populaire. Le pape Paul VI a visité le sanctuaire en 1967. La visite de la maison (église) dure environ 45 minutes et après notre visite; il y aura 5 min en voiture d'Ephesus.
nous poursuivrons avec la visite du temple d'Artémis; qui est l'une des sept merveilles de l'antiquité. Ici, vous aurez également de bonnes chances de prendre des photos de l'église Saint-Jean et de la mosquée Isa Bey sous le meilleur angle.
Ephèse est un témoignage exceptionnel des traditions culturelles des périodes hellénistique, impériale romaine et du début du christianisme. Ephèse est un site important pour le christianisme; être l'une des sept églises de la révélation. L'apôtre Paul a probablement passé deux ans et demi à Ephèse lors de son troisième voyage missionnaire. Dans deux heures, vous explorerez la ville en marchant dans les rues en marbre, accompagnés de notre guide anglophone. Au cours de notre visite, nous verrons Odeon, l’Agora d’État, Prytaneion, le monument Memmius, le temple Domatian, la porte d’Hercule, la rue Curetes, le temple Hadrien et les Latriens. Les visites à la maison privée (appelée «maison close») sont des visites facultatives pour 25 / personne supplémentaires et votre guide doit en être informé au préalable. Après Terrace Houses, nous poursuivrons notre exploration avec la bibliothèque Celsus, Marble Road, l’Agora commerciale, Great Theather et Arcadine (Harbour Road).
Sirince est un ancien village de ‘Rum’ (Grecs byzantins) situé sur les collines de Selcuk et à 7 km d’Éphèse. Dans le cadre du traité de paix après la guerre nationale turque (1919-1922), un échange formel de turcs et de grecs a été convenu et Sirince est maintenant habité par des Turcs. Le village est populaire pour ses belles maisons traditionnelles et sa production de vin aromatisé aux fruits; et vous aurez un temps libre pour une dégustation de vin.

Hüray was an excellent guide, part informative and part humorous. She also was good at corralling all of us through the sites. The tour lengths were appropriate for each site: not too long and not too short.
Great tour driver and great guide, we enjoyed our day seeing different sites and towns, learning some history, and enjoying local cuisine.
We had an excellent tour of Ephesus with Huray as our guide. From the very beginning, she clearly explained the plan for each stop, making the day well organized and easy to follow. Her English was excellent, and she shared detailed, engaging information throughout the tour. At the House of the Virgin Mary, Huray provided fascinating historical and cultural context, and at the ancient city of Ephesus she brought the site to life with her knowledge while patiently answering all of our questions. She also made sure everyone stayed together and no one got lost, which made the experience very comfortable and stress-free. Although the Temple of Artemis is a shorter stop, she gave us enough free time to explore and take photos at our own pace. Lunch was another highlight—Huray arranged a delicious vegetarian meal at a lovely local restaurant, which we really appreciated. We also enjoyed strolling through the charming village of Şirince with enough time to explore on our own. Overall, Huray did a fantastic job. She was knowledgeable, organized, friendly, and attentive throughout the day. Her passion for the history of the region and her thoughtful planning made this one of the highlights of our trip. Great tour! We arrived at the House of Mother Mary at the perfect time and were able to avoid the large tour crowds. This gave me the opportunity to enjoy some meaningful spiritual moments. Our driver was friendly, and our tour guide, Ms. Huray, was both warm and highly knowledgeable. The lunch was excellent, and Ms. Huray took the time to sit with us and explain the dishes we were eating, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The guide was excellent for the information and kindness in the service. However, I do not like being taken to visit places for tourists to shop (carpet factory, business that makes cosmetics with olive oil). These activities are not included in the tour of the visit.

Wonderful experience.. of interested in history, highly recommended when in Turkiye. Well informed and amazingly trained tour guide. Realistic time management where you doesn't feel rushed at the time all points are covered in depth.

The worst thing about this tour company was their lack of communication, and, for that reason, I would not recommend using this company. I purchased this tour specifically because it said that we could purchase the option to see the terrace houses, and I'd messaged the company 3 times over three weeks preceding our tour date to inquire about it; no response at all. When I told the guide the morning of the tour that I wanted to add the terrace houses, she said it wasn't possible. It was only when I showed her my messages that she said she could give me 20 minutes to see the terrace houses at the expense of the library (the main structure to see). Sadly, that isn't where the disappointments ended. We spent over half the tour on pointless tourist attractions: first a carpet seller disguised as lunch and then a small town that specializes in the production of the most disgusting wine I've ever tasted. I do NOT recommend this tour. All of the other tour companies we used during our time in Greece and Turkey communicated with us (at least about the pickup time the night before), and this one rushed through the sites at Ephesus without adequate detail, explanation, or opportunities for photos. If they hadn't wasted half the day at the tourist buying sites, that would have been understandable. In this case, they need to drop the tourist town and spend adequate time at Ephesus.
