Our tour guide was Anastasia, and she was fantastic. We had some disappointmenting tours in Rome and thought we just weren’t tour people. She completely changed our minds! We were lucky enough to be the only people in our group, so it ended up being like a private tour. Anastasia actually talks to you, instead of the paintings and statues you’re looking at, and she’s full of interesting information. Some of our guides were difficult to understand but she spoke excellent English. She was by far our best tour guide in Italy. The Uffizi itself is massive and houses a majestic collection. It wasn’t totally packed which was a nice change. Outside the building are many artists painting and selling art, and we each bought several paintings.

The early morning tour was great. We were able to see the masterpieces easily without the crowds. Our guide, Francesca, was very knowledgeable, personable, and terrific. She spent time explaining the periods involved and major works. Well worth the money for the tour.

This is an impressive collection of paintings. Our guide Giana had a ton of knowledge and kindly led us to the highlights of the museum. After over 2 hrs, there was more to see. Not for those who just want to pass thru. Giana was on time and helped with avoiding the crowds, as well as explaining significance and detail of the paintings, as well as the museum itself. Great for those of us with an interest in the Renaissance.

We loved this exceptional early bird tour of the Uffizi with Fabio! He was a very knowledgeable and fun guide, navigating us away from the other tourists to view the incredible Uffizi art more closely. Fabio provided us with the key achievements of art history, leading to the Renaissance. He also recommended that we visit Santa Croce and the Bargello Museum, which we diid! (These places were lovely, with less tourists. ) This was a wonderful tour of the Uffizi, first thing in the morning. A true bucket list experience!

Ginna was fantastic! She gave us amazing details of many of the paintings and sculptures that brought life to the gallery!! Her familiarity with fine arts and art history were quite impressive and she welcomed our questions along the way. Going through the gallery on our own would have been an overwhelming experience because of the crowd alone but she knew where and when to take us to the highlights in the gallery.
