Guide never showed up or called. Had to walk to the caves and never got to see the aquarium. Also the caves do not accept the voucher you get from viator. Bad experience!! However I did get refunded!!
We were pleasantly surprised at how much there was to see in this small aquarium and surprisingly larger zoo where you walk through enclosures. The waterfront location is beautiful. We saw two huge beautiful parrot fish from the bridge prior to entering. Reasonably priced and well worth a visit
We lucked out with a private tour. We were picked up at the port by Dean and his lovely wife Abby. Dean was so informative and gave us so much information and tips about Bermuda. Comfy air-conditioned drive. It was not crowded so we really got to see everything. We were at the zoo for 2 hours and wished we could have stayed longer! Special shout out to Mike who pointed out so many fascinating facts about the fish and made sure we made it to the zoo to get an up close and personal experience with the animals! He called Jack, an adorable monkey, who plopped down right in front of us to say hi, as did the lemurs. Even Oscar, the alligator, was out to show off his handsome self. So much to see! Flamingos, Otters, parrots, etc! Beautifully well-maintained zoo. Next stop with Crystal Caves. Our tour guide was very informative and definitely worth the walk. The caves are something to behold. Beautiful! On the way back to our drop-off point, Dean was kind enough to point out some lovely beaches, points of interest, and even let us get out to take some pics. Thank you Dean!!!
Ervin was an excellent tour guide. He made the rainy trip and excellent trip. He was fun and easy to talk to and have great conversations with. He gave us a history lesson and took us to see wonderful sights.
Dean was wonderful. Born & raised in Bermuda, making him an expert on all things local. & what a great sense of humor! We loved him & the tour! Despite the rain, we had a GREAT time! Can't wait to come back & book either his food tour or his cooking class! Thanks again Dean! 🤍
The tour bus driver was very informative about Bermuda and was very friendly. The Crystal Caves we're impressive and the Aquarium had a variety of sea creatures and interesting animals and birds at the zoo.
My family of three adult women took this excursion while our cruise was in port. The Crystal Cave was amazing, the water clear and tour guide very knowledgeable. Getting to the cave was a steep decline but worth the steps as the entire experience underground was amazing to see. Handrails were available and we spent sufficient time underground. The zoo was also fun to walk around, several indoor and outdoor exhibits to see. Both stops offered restrooms. The zoo was at your own pace and we spent an hour there. The caves were busy and we couldn’t spend unlimited time, yet we all felt it was enough. We took tons of pictures at both locations! Shady spots available at the zoo. While the zoo accommodated wheelchairs, the caves would not.
Meetings point was very easy and the drivers were very nice The drive to and from the activities was beautiful was what the trip alone
Calvin was a knowledgeable guide. Easy going and went out of his way to show us a memorable day and switched things up to avoid rain and crowds
We opted to book through trip advisor rather than the cruiseship. The tour stated it would be about 4hrs and transportation would be covered to each destination and back to the ship. We definitely got more than our money's worth. Dean was amazing. Before taking us the the caves, he drove us around the island, sharing the history, the culture, pointing out various landmarks, stopping for photos at high points and landmarks on the island. He took care of getting us into the Zoo/Aquarium and the Crystal Cave and was timely picking us up at each location. On the way back to the ship, Dean gave us pointers on what to do the following day (Good Friday) which is a national holiday on the island. 5 stars, will definitely contact Dean again if we return to the island.
