Description

Fun Excursion

We took our kids for a day that ended up rainy. We had a great time going through the animal exhibits, the play pool, and the nature walk. It’s nice educational experience and a look into Fiji’s large biodiversity.

Special place doing great work for the environment

We were treated to a wonderful tour by knowledgeable and professional staff. We got to hold a boa constrictor and a rare, Banded Iguana. We fed endangered Hawksbill sea turtles, saw coral that is also endangered and being nurtured by Kula Eco Park for replanting in Fijian waters and even had a go on the high zip line. The colours of the Kaka (Shining Parrots) and the smaller Lorikeets (Kula) were incredible. The vegetation was beautiful and the paths, trees and facilities were well maintained and staff showed real care and affection for all flora and fauna. We will be back. Vinaka vakalevu from the Fiji Museum, Suva.

Average experience.

Turtle feeding was nice. Limited animals though. Had problems at the cafe where there was nonsensical additional charges not disclosed on the menu and poorly communicated. Overall, I thought it was overpriced for what was offered.

Bula Vinaka, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback following your recent visit to Kula WILD Adventure Park. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed the turtle feeding experience, which remains one of the highlights of the Park and an important part of our conservation and awareness programs. At the same time, we are sincerely sorry to hear about your disappointment regarding the café experience and the concerns raised around the additional charges and communication. Your comments are well noted and will be reviewed internally with our team to ensure clearer communication and better guest experience moving forward. As a conservation-based wildlife park, much of our work focuses not only on visitor experiences but also on the ongoing care, breeding, rehabilitation, and protection of Fiji’s endangered wildlife and marine species. Nonetheless, we genuinely appreciate your honest feedback as it helps us identify areas where we can improve further. Thank you once again for visiting us, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back again in the future for an improved experience.

High Price, Low Value

I visited Kula Eco Adventure Park with my parents and left feeling quite disappointed, especially considering the cost ($136.50). As an international visitor, I paid almost double the local rate ($68.50) which set expectations for a well-maintained and genuinely “eco” experience. Unfortunately, the facility appeared run down, and several enclosures felt empty or poorly maintained. Some birds and animals that were expected to be there were missing, and overall the care of the park did not reflect the price being charged, particularly for overseas visitors. What made it more disappointing was that this is promoted as an eco and conservation-focused park. I was hoping to see better standards of upkeep and animal care. Had I paid the local rate, I might have felt differently, but at the visitor price, the value simply wasn’t there. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and invests more into maintenance, transparency, and animal welfare, as the concept of the park has potential.

Bula Vinaka, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback following your recent visit to Kula WILD Adventure Park with your parents. We are sincerely sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations, particularly given the value you associated with the international visitor rate. We understand your concerns regarding park presentation, animal visibility, and overall visitor perception, and we genuinely appreciate you bringing these matters to our attention. As Fiji’s largest wildlife and conservation park, Kula WILD Adventure Park operates not only as a visitor attraction but also as a conservation, rehabilitation, and educational facility focused on the protection of endangered Fijian wildlife and marine species. Many of our programs, including turtle rehabilitation, captive breeding, coral restoration, and educational outreach, operate continuously behind the scenes and form a significant part of the overall operational costs and visitor contributions. That said, we fully acknowledge the importance of maintaining high presentation standards and delivering clear value to all our guests, especially international visitors who choose to support our conservation efforts while visiting Fiji. Your comments regarding maintenance, animal visibility, and overall experience have been noted seriously and will be reviewed internally with our management and operational teams. We appreciate your honest and constructive feedback, as it helps us identify areas for improvement moving forward. Thank you once again for visiting us, and we hope there may be an opportunity to welcome you back in the future for a more positive experience.

That’s not a snake!

Our visit started just in time to feed the turtles before coming back to hold the beautiful blue and green iguana. We chose to just do the park, but the option to add on the zip line and waterslide activities was available. After the turtle pond we just started following the walkways, taking time to read and photograph the various displays set up around the park. Although still recovering from a knee injury, I was able to negotiate all the walkways, and even keep my balance on the rope bridge. The animals provided splashes of brilliant colour, plus the fun of finding them in the various walk-through enclosures. Whilst the birds were lovely, I enjoyed the land and sea building. Seeing the delicate corals bring rejuvenated was amazing and fascinating to watch them moving. All up we had nearly 2 hours there, including a drink break at the water park and great conversations with the staff with the iguanas and snake.

enjoyable day

Kula adventure Park a very unique experience. In a natural setting, they showcase various native plants and some animals. The turtle lagoon was exceptional and even got to feed them. The birds they had were beautiful the ocean reef set up was unique. Some of the best fish and chips I had in the back eatery. Everyone that worked there was super polite and helpful. You even got to hold an iguana and a snake. Great place to take children

A beautiful way to spend a day

This was sooo cool! The animal encounters and the setting being in the jungle 😍 I also got to try my first coconut drink ever here. And got to converse with a parrot. Would 100% recommend!

We had an awesome day

I read a lot of the reviews before going and was resigned to the fact that we may only spend an hour or two there...we ended up being there all day. I went with my husband and two kids F7 and M5 and both loved seeing the animals, and being able to hold a couple. They were also well entertained by the splash pool, loved the water slide and F7 was keen for the zip line too. With kids this age, I recommend the park. Take bathers and let the kids play. It was surprisingly one of our favourite days of the holiday!
