When I signed up for this tour I didn't know it was 650 steps to the top. That information should be clearly stated in the description. We were unable to do that so we paid a 2nd time for the tour with a lift. Our tour guide Ruth gave me her number to meet us up there. When we finally got up there after waiting in line a 2nd time Ruth & our group were no longer there. We did run into 2 people who said she already left which was sooner than the tour was supposed to be over. The person that worked there said they would credit us if our guide was there. Tried calling the number multiple times & texting her. Also left a voice message. She never responded. VERY disappointed in this experience. Have done many Viator tours but won't again. I should be refunded for the 1st trip by Viator.

Montez la Tour Eiffel comme Gustave Eiffel l’avait prévu, à pied. Il croyait que la marche offrait la meilleure expérience, alors nous avons créé la montée guidée originale de la Tour Eiffel. Suivez votre Guide local à l'intérieur pour en apprendre davantage sur son ingénierie, sa conception et son histoire autrefois controversée. Arrêtez-vous au premier étage pour voir un escalier en colimaçon récupéré et montez sur le sol en verre pour un point de vue unique. Continuez ensuite jusqu'au deuxième niveau pour une vue imprenable sur le Louvre, Notre-Dame, Montmartre, la Seine, et au-delà. Offrez-vous des macarons ou magasinez des souvenirs avant la fin de votre visite guidée. Si vous avez sélectionné l’amélioration du sommet, montez à bord d’un ascenseur à parois vitrées jusqu’au pinacle. Jetez un coup d’œil dans le bureau restauré de Gustave Eiffel – avec des figures de cire de Claire et Thomas Edison – et explorez des expositions historiques. Si vous souhaitez porter un toast au bar à champagne, veuillez noter que les boissons sont à vos frais. Selon les règles de la tour, dirigez-vous directement vers le sommet depuis le deuxième étage, puis revisitez les niveaux inférieurs par la suite.

- Le sommet peut se fermer à l'improviste à la discrétion de la tour. Si cela se produit et que vous avez réservé un accès au sommet, vous recevrez un remboursement partiel.
- En période de pointe, les contrôles de sécurité peuvent parfois prendre jusqu'à une heure.
- Selon le règlement de la tour, si vous réservez le sommet, vous devez d'abord visiter le sommet avant d'explorer les étages inférieurs.
- Si vous avez choisi l’option croisière : C’est une croisière d’une heure sur la Seine avec Bateaux Parisiens, au départ de la Tour Eiffel. Admirez les principaux monuments parisiens comme Notre-Dame, le Louvre et le musée d'Orsay, avec des commentaires audio disponibles en 14 langues. Les croisières se déroulent tous les jours, toutes les 30 minutes de 10h30 à 22h30. Votre Guide vous donnera les billets le jour de la visite, et ils sont valables 1 an.
- Il y a 674 marches du sol au deuxième étage de la Tour Eiffel.

The tour was really disappointing. I booked this experience to enjoy the sunset from the top of the Eiffel Tower, but our guide kept us on the second floor for two hours, and, to make matters worse, we ended up missing the opportunity to see Paris from the summit. This is absolutely unacceptable. They ruined what was supposed to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience for me. I’m extremely disappointed and heartbroken. Such a shame. 💔

Our guide was very personable and knowledgeable, but the pace of the tour didn’t work well for us. Too much time was spent on the first floor away from the views, causing us to miss the sunset. It would’ve been far more beneficial to learn about the site while actually looking at it Instead of watching videos on an iPad. we chose to leave the tour early to explore the tower and head to the top ourselves.
