We had two trips from Sarajevo, one across the border to Serbia and one to Travnik and Jajce. Both were interesting and informative. Guides were great and told us a lot about the country as we travelled. Scenery is beautiful and each trip ended with a late lunch in a restaurant (cost not included). Our guides Tarik and Robert looked after us well and were very kind.
An amazing tour with a really enthusiastic guide. We started early to avoid border control queues and the river boat cruise was lovely. The ethno village was fun! We all loved the narrow-gauge train ride and Tara national park was just what yuu needed after a long ride in the minibus, a good easy walk through the woods up to the viewpoint. Ancient tombstones is an optional extra stop, but very much worth it. Excellent lunch. Robert is very knowledgeable not only about the history of the countries but also wildlife especially birds. He pulled out all the stops to ensure we had a great experience.
We have used Funky Tours in 2025, unfortunately it wasnt the best experience however after speaking with the CEO Ema she rectified the issue. As we were back in the Balkans we wanted to give Funky Tours another chance and Ema didn't disappoint! She arranged a private transfer with a lovely young man called Faik. We stopped at stunning places across BiH and Serbia. We had to have alot of water and toilet breaks that he always accommodated. He also takes amazing photos. Hes stories over the 12 hours were entertaining to say the least but nothing more than what we would expect from a young man. My only fault is that he was driving at excessive speed on the highway using his mobile for texts and checking Instagram. It did make us nervous at times but he assured us we were safe. The boat trip was also private which was amazing, and we had alot of fun before the train ride. It was like being out with a younger brother. The Tera National park was amazing, bring trainers as its very rocky at the top. We were fortunate enough to hear a Bear call which was great and saw some snakes. All in all a wonderful day out and transfer to Belgrade. When we return to the Balkans we will definitely be booking tours with Funky tours again.
Zlatan the guide was great, really knowledgeable and friendly. We had spent enough time at the places and it was great value for money as lots if activities and the full 12 hours was utilised. My favourite part of the trip was the train journey, I would say Tara however I have been before; still as beautiful as ever. Really would recommend this tour.
This is a fantastic day trip if you have time for it. Our guide was very well educated and engaging. The whole day was a lot of fun but Banjska Stena viewpoint was the highlight for me personally. Would not hesitate to recommend. Get a good night's sleep as it is a long day
A day of stunning scenery, relaxing boat rides and exhilarating train rides. A really good introduction to Bosnia and Serbia
Went to various locations in Bosnia and Serbia , driver gave good historical information of the 2 countries
Excellent guide and beautiful sights.
My friend & I joined this tour to see more of Bosnia Herzegovina & Serbia, it really delivered. Our guide Hamza was really knowledgeable & shared some interesting insights. The key highlights for us were the train journey & the short hike to the lookout point.
The absolute best hosts! So kind and warm and informative. Took us to such unique and off the beaten path places. Had the best time.
