Description
Venez avec nous pour profiter de la belle ville de Lyon. Vous pouvez choisir entre un vélo ordinaire ou, si vous voulez plus de confort, vous pouvez choisir l'option avec le vélo électrique. Au cours de cette visite de 3 heures, vous verrez la ville du nord au sud. Découvrez les principales places, flânez le long des 2 rivières et surtout, vous flânerez à l'intérieur du plus magnifique parc de Lyon : la Tête d'Or. Viens avec nous !

Votre Guide vous accueille dans notre agence où vous pourrez laisser vos effets personnels. Ensuite, vous aurez une courte formation pour apprendre à utiliser le vélo et vous recevrez peu d'instructions.
Après avoir flâné le long des berges du Rhône, direction le parc de la Tête d'Or. Vous profiterez là bas du poumon vert de la villes, des allées ombragées et du doux parfum des fleurs. Vous irez découvrir les serres tropicales, la roseraie ou encore le zoo ! Vous reprendrez des forces en dégustant une spécialité de notre belle région.
La place des Terreaux est l'un des principaux lieux de la Presqu'île. Il y a l'hôtel de ville, le musée des Beaux-Arts et aussi la célèbre fontaine de Bartholdi.
Continuons à côté du quartier historique : le Vieux-Lyon. Vous apprécierez les jolis bâtiments colorés et le monument emblématique comme le palais de justice et la cathédrale Saint-Jean-Baptiste.
Passons à la Presqu'île pour aller sur la plus grande place piétonne d'Europe : la place Bellecour. Profitez de la jolie statue du roi Louis XIV et de son anecdote amusante.
Sur les bords du Rhône, il y a beaucoup de beaux paysages comme la colline de Fourvière ou la colline de la Croix-Rousse. C'est un endroit agréable pour s'amuser avec le vélo !
Roulez jusqu'au bout de Lyon ! Vous verrez où les 2 rivières se rejoignent ! Vous découvrirez la nouvelle partie de la ville avec toute l'architecture moderne.
La visite se termine près de la magnifique Saône. Vous apprécierez les jolis bâtiments inspirés du style italien.

Great experience, very complete tour of Lyon accompanied by information and interactions from our superb guide Maëva. We enjoyed this moment very much , the 3 hours pass very quickly and the electric bike is a real plus that allows to cross the city in a short time and without tiring. The bikes are ok. Riding down the river was pleasant. However, the tour guide needed a lot of help with his basic English from another customer who had to translate for him. Otherwise we struggled to understand him. He lacked knowledge about Lyon and enthusiasm and had to follow his phone for directions sometimes. We missed two stops (the Old Town and a large Square) out altogether. We’ve done quite a few city cycle tours and this was the worst. It wasn’t the guide’s fault. He needs more training and English lessons to justify £48 a person.

Please accept our sincere apologies for the issues you encountered during the tour. We are currently investigating what happened on the day of your tour. We are concerned to learn that you struggled to understand the guide, we completely understand how disappointing this must have been. But he had done many tours with English speakers and everyone could understand him… For your information, cycling is not ideal in the narrow and crowded streets of the Old Town (Vieux-Lyon), which is why the tour did not go through them. However, you did ride alongside the area and received an explanation about this historic district. As for Bellecour Square (the « large square »), it is currently under construction, and we felt there was little value in stopping there, especially as it could have been perceived as unsafe. We genuinely appreciate your honest review, as it helps us improve. If you ever return to Lyon, we would love to have the opportunity to offer you a better experience. Best regards,
It doesn't go to sites in Old Town Lyon but rather more modern attractions across the city. The route covers 15 miles.
Thank you John for your review. Yes indeed, we do not go inside the Old Town because it is not accessible by bike 😉 But we still see the Vieux-Lyon, and we talked about it. Have a nice day !
Lea was our guide, and she was excellent. An easy pace around the city with interesting information. I highly recommend doing this tour as you gain a very good insight and feel for the history and layout of the city.

It was an excellent tour of Lyon by bike. The guides were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. There are loads of cycle paths to get around, so really safe and easy. It was honestly amazing and I would absolutely recommend!

This guided experience provided an excellent geographic, cultural and historic orientation to the city of Lyon. A highlight on Sunday morning was seeing how the Lyonnaise enjoy the rivers, parks and paths in the urban environment.
