Lovely day trip. Well organised. Our guide, Peter, was very helpful and clear. He explained everything well & constantly guided us throughout the trip
Tour guide was nice and knowledgeable. Transportation was great. Gave us plenty of time to explore on our own
The pluses: Our tour guide Piotr was very knowledgeable and gave us a spoken guided tour of the city on arrival (via handily provided headsets). It was also useful being added to a WhatsApp group so we could keep in touch, ask questions if needed etc. Piotr was also on hand on the return bus journey and happy to answer further questions etc - we had a good chat with him. Piotr also had an amusing and entertaining manner! Of course there was Dubrovnik itself which is a beautiful and fascinating city. After the tour we had free time to do what we wanted - we choose to use most of this walking round the old city walls - both these and the city itself are amazingly well preserved and the views from up there are stunning. Definitely recommended! The downers: the trip had a very early start (meeting at 6.45am, leaving at 7am) which was totally understandable given the distance and travel time to Dubrovnik from Split. However due to this fact and the walking tour which occurred on immediate arrival (which wrapped up until around 12pm), there was no scheduled stop for a snack or coffee. This meant that we were pretty hungry and in need of refreshment by that point - leaving so early meant we were unable to have breakfast at the hotel where we stayed. I should also add that the temperature was around 35 degrees on this particular day. All of which made us feel even more exhausted! If some kind if refreshment stop had been factored in I think this would have helped. Overall though, a great opportunity to explore Dubrovnik and an enjoyable day out.
Very interesting visit if you want to get to know part of the Croatian coast and visit the old Republic of Ragusa.
Fantastic day well worth the money. Petar our guide made our da memorable he was very informative and very funny was a great day from start to finish. Definitely recommend it.
Day trip to Dubrovnik from Split? Absolutely worth it. Geeked out reenacting all the Game of Thrones scenes—especially Cersei’s iconic “Shame! Shame! Shame!” walk. Strolling through the real King’s Landing was surreal. Naturally, I wrapped up the day the best way I know how: with a pistachio gelato cone. 🍦👑⚔️I’m
Hello, Thank you for your amazing review! We're thrilled to hear you enjoyed your day trip to Dubrovnik and had fun exploring the iconic Game of Thrones filming locations. It’s wonderful to know the experience felt so memorable and special for you. We hope to welcome you again soon for another unforgettable adventure! Kind regards,
I dont usually write any reports but need to regarding my experience with this company. I paid about 150.00 for a full day trip as we were excepting to stay in split. But later found out when we got on holiday we were nearly 2 hrs away . Therefore i contacted the company trying to see if we could still get picked up or an alternative as a taxi would over 200 pounds to get there. There was limited reply as i messaged both company and viator explaining we couldnt make it and due to the fact they failed to read or reply it was just less than the 24 hr free cancellation although it was obvious we couldnt make it. I have asked the company for a refund etc who refused my request. I even g0t a message and call in the morning of the trip asking if we were going ...again another example 0f lack of communication via messages or through aviator.. they seemed more happy that they got 150 pound for nothing....customer service very poor and wouldnt recommend them if u needed any help or a reasonable solution to the issue i had........
Hello mr. Paul, me as an owner of this company love to see review like this from time to time because review like yours makes our 50.000 nice reviews look legit as they are. You are giving us 1* review because you booked a tour for completely wrong city and you choosed not to show up and go on a tour, and that is all happening 12h before tour. Mr Paul next time please learn where are you going, dont be an uneducated man going around the world as a 🐑, trust me it will make your vacation much more pleasant and enjoyable. Thank you for paying your tour and not showing up it really helped our other guests have more space in the bus. There was absolutely 0 reasons for us to refund you any money for your own mistake. We saved your spots, we showed up on time in the morning and you didnt. Next time if you manage to book a tour in a city you are actually staying and it happens to be split omis or trogir please choose Gray Line again and we will show you a 5* review experience. Thank you mr Paul and have a wonderful day. Miro Pavkovic
Tour, itself, was great. The tour guide seemed to be knowledgeable and personable. Dubrovnik on the other hand was very underwhelming. I guess the appeal was lost on me since I know nothing about Game of Thrones.
Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're glad to hear that you enjoyed the tour and found your guide knowledgeable and personable. Safe travels, Tours in Croatia
I enjoyed the Dubrovnik Tour. I was picked up in Trogir where I was staying and transported to Split where the tour began. We were on a comfortable tour bus. The guide was very keen to inform us of Croatia's history and did a great job of the tour in Dubrovnik. Despite it being a long bus ride, it was comfortable and no stress. I thought there was plenty of time in Dubrovnik to explore on your own. I would recommend this tour.
Dear Guest, Thank you for your kind review! We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your Dubrovnik tour, found the journey comfortable, and had enough time to explore the city at your own pace.
